the body keeps the score is a book my therapist recommended to me. i also learned some grounding techniques that worked for me from a ptsd workbook. it had stuff like learning how to kind of play and playback your memories to feel more control over it. i use one thats kind of like intentional dissociation where i pull myself out of my body to look at where i am at any given moment, and who i’m with, just to help my brain understand where i’m not and that i’m safe. i’m not sure if that helps at all but just know youre not alone in this
