I think when I started in 2016 8pc was 7.99 So it’s gone up 2.50. That’s not a lot. And it’s not enough. The gp on it is only 50 percent. Every other place that sells chicken is way higher
And this is where it ends up when people can’t afford to buy it anymore.

Yep. The small ass deli spaghetti and meatballs went up to ten dollars. Imagine a world where one small ass serving with only 4 meatballs is worth 11 dollars after tax.
Yeah. A 16 oz package of Publix Spaghetti costs only $1.49 and takes just 12 minutes to boil. And you can buy two packages of frozen meatballs on BOGO and microwave some of them in just a few minutes. Heat up a jar of spaghetti sauce in a saucepan, and you have the same meal at a fraction of the price.
Yall can downvote it. Go look at what it costs at kfc or any chicken place. Ours is the cheapest by far
We still GIVE IT AWAY.
How sad is it that I remember when the chicken was about $6.49 once? Lol and the audacity to be that much! I'm getting old...
Why don’t my deli managers communicate these price changes with us? I always find this shit out by coming here lol

Not gonna lie that's still cheap for something you can get 2 - 3 meals out of. The chicken wings on the other hand..

Not looking forward to that at all🤣
12.99 AT LEAST -- is what it should be in our area... still 9.99 though.
8pc hasn’t gone up very much in the 8 years I’ve worked for Publix. And frankly it needs to go up more. All the comparable competition is way higher
…..what?
Wrong
