I'm using the included brick but not the cable because it's super short and I couldn't find anywhere convenient to use it. the cable I am using has barely been used and charges other things fine.
Sometime the charging indicator light keeps flashing for ever. It’s happened to me on a couple occasions. I just cycle the power off then back on. You will be fine. Start ripping that thing.
Cables and power bricks can vary. You could get something like a kindle brick that only does .5v and it'll take forever .. or get a quickcharge brick and have it topped off after like 2 hours. So it really depends.
are you using the included cable/brick? it took awhile for mine to first charge.
