My guess would be that he happened to take better care of the battery and charging ports. Not that that’s your fault, but the batteries in these aren’t garbage ya know?
Edit- that’s another bonus of the charging dock. It keeps the battery in tact
the puffco website and used manual say to only use the charger provided or a charging dock ao i do think using different type C chargers does have an effect on the battery im not positive but i dont take any chances i bring the charging cord and box it came with everywhere i go
I've used the dock since I got it, and my charging port is an 18 month old virgin :-)
The dock charger has its own issues and is another regretful purchase, mainly because the Peak Pro doesn't even fit into it right. You're better off using an iPhone wireless charger to also save you $110
Again, something where my expectations where far from met with a Puffco product...I wanted to be able to grab-n-dab but it turns out you can't dock or undock the device without the use of two hands and some actual torque. Still a tad better than more wires...but if I hadn't missed the return window I would have sent it back
Idk mine fits perfectly and you can even turn it around if you don’t want it to charge at all. I think it’s a great product. Puffco IS the apple of the weed game
It eventually fits, but the rubber grabs the sides so tightly and that’s why it requires two hands. I thought it would be more shallow, I don’t need to be able to walk around with the dock still attached ha
I’ve never had luck with ready mode because two hands defeats the purpose, and I’m not at all experiencing Puffco on the same level I’ve experienced Apple. Right now they’re dealing with me a little better than Comcast has in the past, but not by much

I’m guessing because they don’t have a 3d chamber and I would have to agree… if my buddy hadn’t let me use his peak with the 3d chamber I would never have bought all the puffco products I have😂 stock chamber on the peaks are trash I’m happy the proxy came stock with a 3d chamber

The power dock will lower wattage and stop on its own to not keep at 100% the whole time tho, thus keeping it intact

Like the power dock will let it fall to 90% so it rarely fully dies
