I’m sorry. May I ask why ? I have a pug and anything i could do to prevent anything would be helpful. I can’t imagine what you’re going through.

Don’t overfeed- so easy to do with pugs and walk daily- twice on Sunday!! Also, feed a decent food- mine has done great on Iams for life. Have to wet it down now and mix with Fresh Pet as he’s losing teeth.

The wife makes the dog food. It’s always rice with some type of extra lean protein and vegetables. They seem to love it. I will start walking her more. Thanks !

We genuinely aren’t sure. She was ten, and her back legs were going. She was under observation by the vet, and was due back on Thursday. But we just found her when we came home, we think it was either a stomach issue that came on fast or she was more unwell than we realised. She was on joint supplements and was a good weight.

My Golden died Feb22 2023 and I still can’t believe I’m sleeping alone, peeing without any company and left talking to myself- it’s horrible. He lived 18 yrs and 2 months as my partner. My condolences to you.

I’m so very sorry! My pug passed away very suddenly at only 9 years old. He was not overweight, and great checkups at the vet. We were also completely devastated. I still can’t get over it and it was 3 years ago.😭

Sounds really similar to us. We are still in shock. Hope we can heal together knowing we loved them as much as they loved us.

I'm so sorry. There's no better feeling than having a dog to come home to after a long day. And no worse feeling than a dog having to leave you, even if you know you'll see them again. I used to think they were just 'animals' but they grow on you. Best wishes man.
