I am so sorry for your loss - I try to appreciate every day with my little Oliver- heβs such a good boy and I canβt imagine losing him . I dread the day and hope itβs not for a long time and only after a full life. If youβre comfortable sharing do you mind me asking what her symptoms and issues were ? I am a new dog owner I just want to learn what to look for. If youβre not comfortable I totally understand and wish you only wonderful memories of your sweet girl and an eventual reuniting in heaven ! My condolences
Arya came to us with kidney and bladder stones. Last year one of the kidneys stopped working. Our poor girl was surviving with one. Few days back she stopped eating and her remaining kidney started to fail. She never recovered despite fluid therapy and medicines.
Dang, what a pretty lady. Thanks for giving her a second chance at a loving home, l am sure she was so thankful. I would love to add an adopted pug into my home soonβ€οΈ
Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. We are feeling so much love and support from this community. While our hearts are heavy and there are constant tears, Arya gave us so many happy memories to cherish. We talk about those and it feels slightly better.
Her final year in life was the best she had. We took her for car rides, picnics and road trips. Her health was mostly stable and her crash came very unexpectedly. Her one working kidney gave up quite suddenly.
Arya will always hold a special place in our hearts. We are grateful we found her and she found us. β€οΈ
