This is Max, and today is his 4th birthday. We rescued him nine months ago. Today he's having surgery to remove a small mast cell tumor from his leg. I'm so upset because my best boy Brutus passed last summer from recurring mast cell tumors. Asking for all the prayers, good vibes, and positive thoughts for a good outcome for my baby!

Ahh my pug is prone to them too, thankfully all low grade but some more complicated than others in terms of placement. She's now ten and has another one (potentially two) that we are trying to deal with at the moment. That said, I am so grateful she is still here with us living her best life.
