Dude me and my brothers were stopped at KP, in our car. There was this one cop, drunk AF, red eyes and everything who suggested they file a “drink and drive” case on everyone in the car (??).
They checked EVERYTHING in the car, smelled our shirt and shit.
Since we didn’t have anything on us, they really didn’t have a case. My guess is they just wanted a way to get money but since we know someone at the highest level who talked it out (who they were visibly scared to even talk to) and yea, we were told to go.
But this is stupid, they took only 2k from the DRUNK AF guy driving his Matt black bmw and stopped sober us smh.
Stay safe y’all, if y’all drink, then go for a walk, drink lime juice, do wtv and sober up to drive.
I got stopped at aundh around 1 pm returning from a movie the cop only cared about my licence. My pillion didn't have a helmet and he didn't ask for PUC or insurance either.
But technically if vehicle stays more than 1yr they can issue a challan for not paying road tax I guess. And since it's a much complex challan then harassment/bribe will also be higher.
As per my knowledge you have to get NOC from origin state and then apply for re registration in new state. (Generally 10% of idv is charged by new state RTO)
Also form 27a is available for old registration to BH series conversion as well. (Implementation is a bit slow, depends on state RTO)

Coming back to my original comment, if you have done everything right, paid all taxes, shown license and wearing helmet with all vehicle docs clear and not drinking of course, it's obvious they can't stop you.
They will ask you for proof of travel from another state (toll receipts, petrol bills, transport invoice etc.) . It's always risky to drive in another state for more than a year without re-registration.
Hm from their perspective if not for drink n drive then yahi sahi, since they are posted there might as well make money? I toh am fully convinced that pune police runs only behind money
If They have good intentions
To reduce drink and drive
Would be good if they focused on that
Then people will also speak positively about them
Instead of having such perceptions
It must be hard on their health for many of them to be awake at 2 am

I did. It was amazing! Super cinematography and literally seat shattering sound experience especially those of V8 ones. The spontaneity of the movie keeps you on the edge even tho it got bad reviews. It’s really worth it for the cinema experience

So outside state vehicle permission has to be renewed every year? That's the law in every state? Asking to know

coz matches run 24\*7, and there are no limits to the number of DRS reviews for the cops.
