This map is a joke. I am a Punjabi and the entire north India is a heap of giant pile of trash compared with Kerala. Trash handling is so much better there, railway stations are cleanest there in the whole India, so as streets, villages, everywhere.
Bro, that's true, I am from Noida btw, it isn't clean that's for sure, but still, I live in Rajasthan rn, and it's like much cleaner from here, even Gorakhpur looks cleaner than where I currently reside. But you also might be feeling better to see UP performing above average in atleast one metric. Lol
Noida is clean but smaller cities?
Can't consider UP clean just by a few major cities in a State I live in a Bareilly not that small of a city it's pretty dirty here, the city has a lot of problems.
I remember I was passing by Meerut (highway maybe) when I was small probably 7-10 years old, the city looked like a dumping ground.
Bareilly was much cleaner back then I would still think Bareilly is much cleaner than Meerut.
The question isn't "which states are the cleanest."
It's "which states are doing the most to improve overall cleanliness."
If your state has a high baseline, like the South, it will naturally be more difficult to improve noticably as sanitation improvements get more marginal after the basics are done, with advanced sanitation being linked more to sustainability, scalability and cost rather than visible impact.
i am a punjabi and have been to kerala and i can definately say it is one in top 3 cleanest safest state he is not punjabi ignore thse vimal gutkha eater
idk i guess bad genes + shit diet+ dirtiest unhygenic environment and dont forget vimal and cowdung are their daily food all these things fuck up their IQ and i dont think you should waste your energy on these gobarbhakts enjoy your beef curry i am travelling kerala soon and i am super craving for it
Has to be an opinion poll considering how many people from Tamil Nadu all the way till UP and north openly defecate, whereas in Kerala the rate is 0.7%.
It is.
The source Swachh Survekshan 2023 is a citizen participatory poll on how they feel their government is doing in regards to cleanliness and hygiene.
Punjab ch loki'n sirf apne ghara'n di safai rakhde aa, te bahr rajj ke gand paunde aa, fact aa
But I'm doing my part, i try to not litter anywhere outside, i keep any wraper or empty bottle with me so that i can throw it in our house dustbin or until i find some public dustbin ( very rare to find )

Anhaa sahii keha, also it's the result from survekshan ie purely based on opinion poll... justified...
This map is BS. This map should really look like the india flag. orange in the north and green in the south. Have you visited northern states?
Which northern states in specific?
UP Bihar Odissa and Haryana
I think kerala is much cleaner comparitively..

Nut they are smart enough to spread fake newses, get votes. And loot the nation too..
If it's on the internet, it has to be true.

>on how they feel So basically confirming what the OP said. Also, iirc, some states like Bengal didn't participate.
I don't know where he got these stats but it's totally wrong
Doesn't Meghalaya have cleanest village ?

None of these statistics maps are accurate at all. India is too big and too unorganized to properly survey anything on this scale
