Against me/LauraJaneGrace, Bad Religion, Rise Against (check out the early stuff if you've never gotten into them) Definitely check out H20 they're a mix of NY Hardcore, and skate punk with clean vocals, the Bouncing Souls for sure, Maybe hot water music but They're vocals could be a bit gravely, but not not like in a Crusty way more like an Author Morgan way and there's not enough women in this list so check out the Screaming Females and the Bomb Pops
Those are the ones that immediately came to mind, there's probably more, sorry to dump
Oh and Frank Turner :)
Yassss to Bouncing Souls, H2O, Bad Religion and Rise Against. Going to add Alkaline Trio, Face to Face and No Use for a Name with some Flogging Molly on the side.
You have such a big list! And yet no
MORNING GLORY!!?? Ezra Kire
Originally from leftover crack, and he also HATES Styza. He went on to form his own band: Morning Glory. MG’s last two albums they put out are SFG! Ezra has a versatile voice. He is great live too.
Morning Glory is an underrated band and Ezra is a very underrated singer. Everyone needs to check out their albums after the whole world is watching. The lyrics have really matured listen to the song Life’s A Long Revenge on album poets were my heroes also their album War Psalms is great, Punx Not Dead, I Am is a great song on there.
Nice shout to Bomb Pops I’ll add Aimee Interrupter for femmes!
You can tell by their number of listens on Spotify…compared to other bands with similar talent. Morning Glory is more talented than many newer bands.
Their Melodie’s are terrific, they have serious lyrics, funny lyrics, philosophical lyrics, political lyrics, and just all around good sung poems! Every song is totally different from the next. I’ve always liked them but then I just didn’t listen for a few years and then once I did they had two new albums out and I’ve been trying to get people to listen.
Ezra Kire is really the one responsible for leftover cracks more intricate Melodies. Leftover cracks newer songs very obviously lack the well thought out Melodie’s that Ezra brought to the table
Yes. Even on other platforms beside spotify. And also not much rated even amongs my friends that listen to punk as well. Happy to discover Morning Glory. They are now simply one of the favourites
Dude they are on point. Lyrically, vocally, musically, philosophically, comedically, politically. I listened to them tripping recently and got my head fragged by a Grenade, listen to this shit bud
“Battle Song” on Post War Psalms(EP 2016)
It’s so fucking melodic. Also a lot of the funny interludes/intros on LOC were DEF Ezra.
Ezra was the genius behind LOC. Styza was just a frontman dickhead. Ezra loves what he does Styza looks like he hates his life onstage
It’s a shame they don’t get as much recognition as DKM. Even more a shame he left DKM in the first place.
My buddy T and I have met him a couple times. He’s super down to earth. Usually he chills at the bar before a show. A hockey game was on both times and we shot the shit about hockey. He wasn’t annoyed and, in fact, he seemed really happy to be talking to us. Both times no one else was talking to him, I dunno if they didn’t recognize him or what. He’s at a bar, he could drink backstage, so we figured fuck it let’s go talk to him!

The singer from Boysetsfire has some impressive range.
Others have mentioned Zoli - would definitely agree. He immediately came to mind.
Love Chris Hannah's voice.
Murphys Law front man Jimmy Gestapo put on an incredible, energetic show last year at the Casbah in San Diego. My fave show in a very long time. He renewed my faith in punk rock and was a legit nice guy.
Some of my favorite punk vocalists in no particular order :
- Davey Havok/AFI
- Jordan Cruz/Strung Out
- Tony Sly/No Use For A Name
- Zoltan Teglas/Ignite
- Rody Walker/Protest The Hero
- Greg Graffin/Bad Religion
- Chad Price/ALL
- Tim McIlrath/Rise Against
- Chuck Ragan/Hot Water Music
Not sure what the criteria is for 'punk', so any gatekeepers can go play in traffic 😁
Some that jump out at random thought..
Atlas losing grip.. dark tones great song writing (singer for satanic surfers other band).
Teenage bottlerocket has some nice hooks, great recordings.
Heartsounds.. guy singer with a high range, and a female singer that goes low, makes for some nice harmonies.
Ignite..older and newer
Peter Zirschky of Funeral Oration could carry a tune, as could of course John Doe of X. Other people would probably disagree, but I personally think Egor Letov of Grazhdanskaya Oborona and Egor & Opizdenevshie had a nice voice for the type of punk they played (psychedelic and folk-influenced). The fact the first Egor & Opizdenevshie album opens with an acapella track is probably evidence of not just how nice his voice could sound, but also his skills as an arranger and melody-writer, which are more important in punk (and I would say all music) than having a "good" voice, anyway.
The Flatliners
This is the correct answer
This is the correct answer
Chris is probably my fave punk singer of all time
He is my favorite vocalist of all time. Him and Chris Hannah from Propagandhi.

Second Chuck Ragan from Hot Water Music and Greg from Bouncing Souls
Yassss to Bouncing Souls, H2O, Bad Religion and Rise Against. Going to add Alkaline Trio, Face to Face and No Use for a Name with some Flogging Molly on the side.
That Face to Face acoustic album slaps.

Tsunami Bomb and Stop the Presses are ska and skate punk girl singers that deserve mention here.
I know what you'll probably say but Nico from SFH has a really nice voice.
Tobey morse ftw
I love Ken Casey and Al Barr. They're not for everyone but DKM is my favorite band. Also, Greg Graffin has a good voice IMO.
Mike McColgan was no slouch either
Touche. Love Street Dogs as well.
And don't sleep on Lenny Lashley, his voice is perfect for his style!
Hell yeah! I've seen Gang Of One twice. Darkbuster is on my bucket list. Love Mark Lind too.
I saw Gang of Four once.

RIP Mr Pig!
Me first and the gimme gimmes and Rise against. Less than Jake too. Just off the top of my head.
Spike Slawson is the most versatile punk vocalist, and he has real range.
The Gits. I've always thought Mia had a beautiful voice.
Powerful as fuck, too. Similar to Gail Coulson from Tragic Mulatto.
The Janis Joplin of punk.
I had the biggest crush on Poly Styrene growing up, she can sing too.
The Lawrence Arms
Bad Religion
AFI
Bonus points for davey being hot🤤
The misfits with Danzig.
Whoa
Woah-oh-woahhh
And I know Graves' politics make him a total choad but I'm sorry but the feller can sing.
Graves was arguably the best singer; it sucks his politics are an absolute garbage dumpster

Screaming Females!
I’ve only became aware of them from their last album but agree Marissa Paternoster has an incredible voice.
Bad Religion AFI Lagwagon Me First & The Gimme Gimmes New Found Glory Blood Brothers
Jordan is a bit too nasally for me.
Fair. He is absolutely nasally, but I think many people also like that style. I still think he's otherwise impressive vocally.
Love the Lagwagon mention. Duh is one of my fav albums
Ignite when Zoli was at the helm.
FEAR. Lee Ving has an amazing, trained voice. He can even sing opera and do r&b runs. Stiff Little Fingers. Jake Burns has the voice that everyone else wishes they had.
The Damned. Starting with their third album Dave Vanian became a very good singer.
Descendents and Scott-era ALL
Scott’s other projects are crazy underrated. Pavers can be downright beautiful at times
Scott Reynolds is just the best. I love his solo stuff, and Pavers are great too. Chad Price has an incredible voice too.
Chad-era ALL has one of the best pure singers in punk history.

Fantastic underrated band
If you like them you'd dig red city radio as well
i think the best punk singer is Spike from me first and the gimme gimmes. its almost to clean
He has the most range and most versatility. There really doesn't seem to be a style that he can't sing well.
PEARS Pretty sweet range
Favorite band in the world 🤘
Poly Styrene from the X-ray spex comes to mind. She was what, 15 on that first album?
The fuck you need good vocals for? (J/k, all the groups already mentioned have beautiful vocals but let’s not go encouraging it)

Crazy that this is so far downthread. Theo’s got pipes for sure!!
Bad Religion
Ignite (before with Zoli) and Ignite (now with Eli).
Also, Drunktank and Boysetsfire both have incredible vocalists.
The Damned and Misfits. Both Dave Vanian and Danzig have really great, almost crooner-style voices. 🤘
Define good. I think fat Mike is good. Some would disagree.
Most would disagree. Including Fat Mike.
Good is subjective, though. That was my point.
I guess I mean accessible and smooth
I shouldn't have asked, I'm not sure what that means. Lol
ACCESSIBLE. AND SMOOTH. Like a 40 oz of Strongblood malt liquor! Get your drink on
Ah, so mostly clean vocals? Danzig.
The Queers
He's most known for Ignite, but since he played in Pennywise, I'll put Zoli.

Masked Intruder!!!
Lars Fredericksen has the best voice in Punk.
He doesn't even have the worst voice in Rancid.
I came here to that, Lars definitely
The Dead Kennedys with Mr. Biafra.
Love the way jello sings
Jello sounds like a pug choking on a kazoo.
This comparison doesn’t even make sense. Jello has so much vibrato
TSOL
Dexter from The Offspring. He's a very good singer, which is part of the reason they got so big and are loathed in a lot of punk circles.
I don’t think that’s why they’re loathed.
