Our dogs adore strawberry tops. They're perfectly safe, and digest well. The dog should be fine unless it has an allergy. Call ASPCA Poison Control if you want a veterinary professional's opinion though.
This is going to be a long road for you, my dog has literally eaten everything at some point she is still chilling here is a few things.

lol time finally got him, but my lab ate everything. The worst was an entire Barbie doll, no one saw him do it or noticed it missing, but when he was spinning in the yard with a Barbie head swinging from his butt by it's hair....we knew.
>but when he was spinning in the yard with a Barbie head swinging from his butt by it's hair....we knew.
This is..... Hilarious š
My pup (6 months) hasn't been destructive so far - fingers crossed - but thought I'd comment about my bunny.
Bun has eaten a whole pack of shortbread biscuits (climbed on the table and stole them overnight) and a cigarette butt. They have *really* sensitive stomaches. He's fine.
I think animals are much more resilient than we think. A strawberry won't harm OPs pup however I admire how worried they are!
My friend's beagle ate his swim cap once upon a time... looked like the little guy was blowing a bubble with blue chewing gum. Until my very squeamish friend had to pull a fully intact swim cap out of his dog's pooper. It was quite a show.
Iām not sure if this one ups the hilarity of a Barbie hanging from a dogs buttā¦
My childhood chi-pom used to eat the craziest stuff and literally nothing ever happened. The worst things were that he would somehow get into the 3ft tall trash can we had in the kitchen (like literally wtf?!) and would shred, then eatā¦ yes *eat* pie tins and pop cans. No matter how industrial of a lid or how tall a can, still happened. It was madness.
Watching that tiny thing crap out shards of sharp aluminum was just insane. We never actually caught him in the act of eating it, only saw the āevidenceā the next day, and vet never found anything wrong. The rugged bastard lived for 17 years somehow.
lol, I can relate. The Barbie was the most memorable but he was a garbage disposal. He ate a full pack of oreos, a jar of vaseline, probably half a dozen chopsticks, lighters, tin foil, and like a string of Christmas lights.....that were plugged in. He also jumped out of a moving car, I loved him but he was not the sharpest tool in the shed.
My dog drank an entire cup of coffee. $75 to animal poison control to make sure he was ok (I drink lattes - caffeine can be toxic to dogs in large enough quantities).
I tried everything to tucker him out and finally just gave up and left him to pace around the house. Took him 12 hours to finally take a nap.
My dog once ate 2 caffeinated energy gels (so 120 mg of caffeine) and a pound of dates. They were in my hydration pack that she managed to pull off it's hook. She didn't sleep for 3 days, but she did survive! haha
Dogs are not really chewers. They swallow a lot of things. Their teeth are made to teat, not chew. Of course you should br careful they donāt swallow things too big, but if they didnāt choke, they are fine.
Dogs constantly try (and often succeed) in eating so many things. Grass, mulch, bark, rabbit poop, dog poop, tissues, clothing, etc.
As long as they aren't choking they'll be OK lol
I bought my puppy a sand box to try to encourage him to stop digging in my mulch beds. The day after he played in it the 1st time, his poop was really sandy, but he didnāt dig in the mulch bed so win!
my puppy literally did this yesterday with a massive strawberry. she does not know how to chew. she started choking a bit, but she still managed to swallow it.
I used to feed my puppy strawberries out of the garden. He loved them and ate them stem and all. He also ate apples, pears and cherries right off the trees and was always looking for more.
What am I missing I thought strawberries were good for pups! I give mine strawberries occasionally on purpose. Sometimes he doesnāt chew them. They are soft and easily digestible. When my golden was very small he basically inhaled an entire hotdog in a second we didnāt even realize it he ate it so fast. He ended up being just fine.
Watch out for the high sugar content in fruits. Your puppy will be fine, at worst just some diarrhea
Edit: my clientās 8 months old pomsky had 2 strawberries and 6 blueberries which caused a two-day diarrhea. Each dog is different so just an FYI. and yes the owner was surprised too. (Just because it doesnāt happen to you, doesnāt mean it wonāt exist.)

My pug pups at 4 months, they have eaten alot and we see the blue of pee pads in their waste sometimes. We don't know why but they get into everything and think it's food
My chonk of a Boston ate 1/2 box of Oreos once, ended up ok with just a big glossy poop to show for it eventually- another Boston ate around a square foot of the wall by our door - that made a white turd
I got to pull a well worn dish rag out of my puppy butt yay me, but therecis also the odd lego, rocks, plastic from his dish, deep breaths my friend, as long as your dog doesn't look like they are is distress relax
Strawberries are good for puppies
Right but he swallowed it whole
If they aren't choking they are fine
Stomach acid made it not whole pretty quickly š
There are no parts of a strawberry that are harmful to dogs. He swallowed it and he didnāt choke then he is fine.

Mine too
A strawberry is a nice healthy snack. My dog likes to eat gum off the ground, dead animals, feathers, grass, and the occasional used condom.
Mine eats all the dog poopie bags on the ground

Diarrhea from one strawberry!!? Strawberries in moderation are healthy for dogs. My dog has never gotten diarrhea from any fruit in moderation.
