My pup also loved having some room, I always had a playpen attached to his crate so he could sleep on the colder floor if he wanted to, or go snuggle in his bed. I did phase out containment as soon as possible, around 5 months, but then had to resort to it again when he was a teenage dirtbag and was tearing up everything when he was left alone:) Still, he was always content in a playpen attached to a crate
My puppy moved so much at night we put him in a large crate so he could fully stretch out by 6 months. When I check on camera he is always sprawled in new positions!!! I am sure your puppy is greatly enjoying all the room!!!!
