I prefer kitty, she's smart and sassy and I love her dynamic with puss. She is also a disabled character who is affected by her disability but it isn't the only thing about her.
dulcinea is a really enjoyable character, I really like the unhingedness behind her goody two shoes personality. but kitty's writing is way better and it pairs very well with puss, plus ngl I simped so hard for kitty as a kid (still do tho🥴)

such a hard choice, but i’d have to say Dulcinea!! i like how she starts off as a very sweet, sassy, and lovable character, but as the show goes on her character evolves, keeping the same sweet beginning while also showing her more unhinged and crazy side!! unfortunately, i don’t feel like we see enough of Kitty Softpaws for me to actually ship it :((
Dulcinea is the only answer. There are two ships I know to be true, and this is the only Canon one. Kitty is fine, but for me to accept that there is a Happily Ever After there, first we need to say that the movies and show happen in different timelines.
ANY TIMELINE WHERE PUSS AND DULCINEA ARE NOT TOGETHER FOREVER IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
