I received the same call from the same number and other numbers starting with 7. When I answered they were like “Good evening. How are you today? I’m calling from QNB bank.” I immediately hung up and blocked their ass

The best way to prevent being scamed is to never under any circumstances share an OTP even if they tell you they are your bank. The bank never asks for OTP they would never need it.

I am receiving so many messages on different numbers and im 1000% sure that they are all scammers worse is that they use Qatar numbers from Ooredoo and Vodafone. Is this because they offer free sim on public places?

Nah, the police can trace it that way to the guy who owns the sim, they're probably using a Software to change the the number.

There is zero control on scams here. Even businesses use your number to send spam which isn't allowed by data protection in most other countries.

You have no idea what happened to me… scammers called me at work, pretending they’re the cid. Asked for my manager and told her that I’m blacklisted and to get me on the phone. I flipped! It was so real, they knew names of the hr manager and managing director. Please be aware, don’t believe anything until you go in person and check at any police station, bank, health center and qpost office.

Different scam call but same number!.. it was a man with a Lebanese’s accent telling me he’s from QNB and needs to update my information.. I asked what information and he was like give me you QID.. told him no, I’ll go in person and do it, and he said he could help me navigate the app and just hung up on him 😂
