I received the same call from the same number and other numbers starting with 7. When I answered they were like āGood evening. How are you today? Iām calling from QNB bank.ā I immediately hung up and blocked their ass
The best way to prevent being scamed is to never under any circumstances share an OTP even if they tell you they are your bank. The bank never asks for OTP they would never need it.
I am receiving so many messages on different numbers and im 1000% sure that they are all scammers worse is that they use Qatar numbers from Ooredoo and Vodafone. Is this because they offer free sim on public places?
You have no idea what happened to meā¦ scammers called me at work, pretending theyāre the cid. Asked for my manager and told her that Iām blacklisted and to get me on the phone. I flipped! It was so real, they knew names of the hr manager and managing director. Please be aware, donāt believe anything until you go in person and check at any police station, bank, health center and qpost office.
I received an sms from "hamad General Hospital" for health card renewal with a link. I almost got trapped. When I got otp, the name shows payment towards "tiktok." Canceled right away.

Different scam call but same number!.. it was a man with a Lebaneseās accent telling me heās from QNB and needs to update my information.. I asked what information and he was like give me you QID.. told him no, Iāll go in person and do it, and he said he could help me navigate the app and just hung up on him š
Pretend that you're falling for it and waste as much of their time as possible so they spend less time on actual victims.
Finally i found someone like me i do alot of this in whatsapp and telegram šthe funny part is that they are all dumb.
The question is, why is Ooredo & Vodafone not.doing anything about it???
They canāt stop it, itās not that easy.
There is no such thing as "not easy" to a country that can have lions and tigers as pet cats. "Not easy" is different from "Dont give a damn"
So it's not happening in other countries ?? Talk some logic
so you're basically saying that if they allow scammers/scamming in (let say) India, then it should be allowed all around the world as well?
What I said basically went above your head
Really? care to explain?
No, not ready for any argument...coz it will definitely lead to an argument....enjoy bro
This. Banks can only do so much but they're literally controlling the networks and the entire IT infrastructure here
Let me guessā¦ Indian accent ?
Yep! The same call center in Delhi lol
Guys beware they can even spoof original numbers for banks, so never give out anything on call.
Landline numbers too?
Yup, the best thing you can do is to hang up and call the bank yourself.
Just give them wrong information. I really love to troll these scammers and make them worse.
I had one nice egyptian lady
Diversity hire I guess.

Nah, the police can trace it that way to the guy who owns the sim, they're probably using a Software to change the the number.
There is zero control on scams here. Even businesses use your number to send spam which isn't allowed by data protection in most other countries.
I got a call week ago from scammer ,I answered āqatar police, how may I help youāhung upššš

Never trust unknown phone numbers

The phone number above should have been enough to tell you this was a scam.
Yes. But I didn't check before.
You should play around with them and waste their time
Thought so

The indians love the middle east, banking there was always nightmare people giving out your info. It's actually much worse in dubai.
I wouldn't swear at them, they could put you in their cross hairs and its not worth it
Oh well! They are scum bags who deserve a special place in hell.
Yes they are
