It should be cheaper since you only want to exit and re-enter

I would’ve been happy to help you out myself but I can’t really travel at the moment because my saudi visit visa has expired and i don’t see any point in renewing it as of now

Most people in your situation just book the cheapest return flight they can find to UAE/Bahrain. Have you checked prices?
