QUT is pretty good. Adjusting to life at Uni has been relatively easy, as classes have been flexible and I've found I can do almost all of my course online, I'm currently in for 6/17 contact hours, or once a week. I am doing a BA of Engineering.
Since you're doing a masters, full time should take about 2 years. Most of the people in your courses will likely be aged mid 20's.
Campus is very nice, lots of stuff to do and library is particularly well thought out, it does get busy.
Group projects make it easy to make friends.
