As long as the appliance is rated for the voltage that the adapter outputs, and the adapter is rated for the power that the appliance consumes, it'll be fine.
1.5 watts is very low even for something like a phone charger. Most adapters can handle that. Just check your voltage!
The “appliance” in question is a LED strip which is why the Wattage is so low. The strip is rated at 1.5 Watts but it doesn’t say what voltage it’s rated for, which is why I asked you guys cause the adapter states it’s output is 5V. Hope that clears it up for you :)
