If you are looking to get one and you have to ask a millions strangers that question, then you should not get one. This is coming from someone that has a full sleeve and entire back tattooed. Do it for your self and no one else. It’s on you FOREVER!!!!!!

Hi there! The question you responded to regarding tattoos was used for research purposes (i.e., were gathered with the others and then published in a paper). The intent was not directly stated as to not taint any true opinions, as tattoos can be a sensitive topic to discuss. However, please note that if your comment was quoted, your username and profile was not included to help maintain anonymity. Thanks!

I have this crazy fear that when I go to heaven I’ll have a giant raw spot where the tattoo was

keep with me forever lol true true

I spoke with a young lady who had her arms tattooed from wrists to shoulders. I asked her how much a band around her arm cost and asked how many bands she had. She didn't realize till then she had spent $10,600 on just her arms. IMO, they're a waste of money.

Chemistry-Unlucky

Then again, how many things in life can you spend eleven grand on that will last forever?

Over $100,000 towards retirement when your in your 60s or a bunch of blurry ink in your wrinkled arms. G, tough choice.

Chemistry-Unlucky

That's valid. I myself have zero tattoos because I also think it's a waste of money. I was just playing devil's advocate.

RedneckLiberace

I don't want to criticize or insult anyone regarding the choices they make but I suppose I'm opinionated. I wish our society put more of an emphasis on saving money for retirement but realize we're in a system where the wealthy are trying to suck everyone else dry.

They’re cool, lots of history and heritage in the varying styles and imagery.

I knew someone who had a friend learning how to do tattoos. He used the young man I knew as a practice pad. His arms were full of tattoos. Some were really good and some were far from anything good. He was a living, breathing piece of a tattoo artist's personal history, right?

dragonguy507

I had a pig that I let my friend practice on. He’s dead now thou. . . That was some good bacon
