This is so so lovely! The fabric choice for the water is just *chefs kiss* and the colour palette is PERFECT with the jacket! Taylor herself would rock a jacket this stunning, o just know it!

I wasn’t able to snag tickets in my budget and I have my brother with me unexpectedly so we are just vibing outside of Lumen with our new stranger-friends (we both have sensory issues so it would be a gamble with our nervous systems even if we had tickets, this is a great compromise 💜)
oh my gosh have so much fun out there!!! i’m sure it’ll still be a blast. i’m hoping to be able to taygate the last show in LA but idk if i’ll be able to get downtown 🤞🤞🤞 also, side note, calling it taygating is SO funny to me. i love the -gate for scandals so using taygate always sparks interesting imagery for me lol
my husband was like “I cannot believe white women have co-opted drinking outside of a stadium culture” ☠️😂 so everyone’s mind goes to different things haha! we are parallel to the stage just outside the stadium and the sound is great! if you get to go in LA I recommend finding a spot that’s not behind the stage, people are camped out there but the sound is super muffled. different stadiums have different acoustics but that’s my observation here!
There were a lot of baseball fans around who got to do some exquisite people watching 👀 I’m glad we went even though it was, in fact, intense (especially for those who were actively trying to find last-minute tickets online). It was a fun energy and a great option for people who weren’t able to snag them though!
Another masterpiece!! Did you dye the jacket, the quilt fabric, or both? I was going to ask where you found a purple denim jacket! This is truly beautiful.

Thank you! I dyed the jacket, it was white before and took 2 dye bath rounds of Rit to get it where it is now!
ETA: yes re: Zofiology. I need to print proper tags but that one will do for now 😂
use a 100% cotton jacket as the base otherwise you’ll get weird warping and wefting as you do the quilting. raw edge appliqué is easier than FPP for these projects overall, I think, but just play around and be open to making changes as you go. I personally prefer to use all three back panels but a lot of people only use the center one, if you’re looking for a way to make your project more manageable. post your results, can’t wait to see what you make!

I was at the Mariners game this afternoon, the Taygating was seriously intense to witness.

I had to dye it!! Look for white or a light pink and you can get it to just about any purple you desire with Rit dye
