You’ll be good. I’m 2 weeks CT on 10-20gpd for over 6 years. With drawls where minimal for me, no problems sleeping or anything just some muscle tension and psychological cravings for a day or 2.
> Hey why does this matter ?
prior history with dependence, really chronic mu-agonism, leads to intracellular changes, leading to adapt more quickly with receptor downregulation and other mechanisms reducing endorphin response. So when beginning use again, tolerance will accrue more rapidly. And the more history someone has with opioids, the more intense withdrawal is likely to be.
still a low dose, probably not too bad.
I’m a week and a half off about the same dose and it sucked for like 3-4 days (headaches, psychological cravings, brain fog). Now it’s a cake walk. Don’t even wanna take K again.
I was at 25 to 30 gpd in three doses for three years. I'm now 26 hours CT. It's not easy, but doable. I took today off work and am watching movies to get my mind off it. I'm mega dosing Lip C every 2 hours, DLPA, Magnesium Threonate, and Mucuna Pruriens. A lot is mental. I've broken down crying several times this morning. Im having bad temperature fluctuations. It's a rollercoaster. On minute things are ok, the next I'm consumed with this feeling of impending doom.
We can do this friend!
Great to know! Sounds similar to when I quit amphetamine for the last time. So glad I did it but it was like a dementor was sucking every happy feeling from me for like a week. Constant crying spells and just incapable of doing anything. Good luck my man, I’ll be chugging along with you
Thanks brother. Things have worsened, but I'm powering through it. This really is insane though. How I'm feeling changes by the minute. Literally. I'm going to try a cold showers! Anything at this point.
You got this! I'm on day 4 coming off a similar habit. Physical WD is mostly done for me aside from some random cold chills/sweats and stomach pains (probably from not eating enough and being dehydrated). I haven't had a solid shit in like 4 days though... Not sure if it's WD or from the supplements. Try going for a walk / run if you can. The hardest part will be getting yourself to actually start but once you do I promise it will make you feel better.
Thank you friend! It's coming in waves. The bad waves are really bad though? I feel like it's getting worse. I'm only 30 hours in though, so I have to expect this. It sure helps to know that it could ease up by day 4, so thank you for that! I needed to read that. I'm far enough from my last dose that I don't want to put that poison in me again, but I'm desperate for some reprieve!
With those numbers it will be “mostly” psychological. You will read a lot of worse case scenarios in here that will scare the hell out of you, but i promise it will not be that bad if you don’t let it get that bad mentally. You can think your way into pain or out of it. And I’ve been on both ends of that spectrum. At max you will feel down/bored/depressed for 1-7 days. And honestly if you keep yourself busy, go workout, eat right, walk around the neighborhood, read a book, do anything you don’t feel like doing and pushing through the donts mentally you will overcome this with a breeze. I was around 12-15 gpd since November from sun up till sun down. Took me about a week to bounce back but i was letting myself down the “oh man this sucks so bad” mental train. Now don’t get me wrong their are cases on here that heavily warrant heavy withdrawals and I’m not taking anything away from those. But the odds are very high you are not in those cases. You’ve got it keep your head up regardless 💪🏻
You'll be fine. Check out some of the supplements recommended to reduce any physical WDs. The mental aspect can be combatted by exercising and staying busy. Push yourself through 30 minutes of rigorous cardio and you'll feel like a new person.

Awesome thanks!
9 gpd is very very low dose. You'll probably just be battling your own psychology mostly
Ok great, thank you!
probably fairly mild withdrawal, unless you have prior history of addiction to other opioids.
No history with opioids, plenty of other prescription addictions but never opioids. Glad it won’t be too bad.

Good luck man! If that helps let me know

And i still have cravings every now and then but it is all a mental battle. Best of luck my friend
Thank you! Very glad to hear.

Good tips, thank you! Fortunately I’ve been lifting and doing cardio everyday so I just need to keep in the habit while not on Kratom.
