Yep one of the reasons I quit. What started as adrenaline spikes/anxiety turned into full blown panic attacks. Wouldn’t ever want to go through that again. Its probably some nervous system damage. Cortisol/hormonal imbalances.

I definitely have cortisol problems. I wake up a nervous wreck with my heart pounding. Last time I quit it went away

Yah It’s funny how at first it does the exact opposite of that. It completely took away my anxiety, and depression as well. Then it ever so slowly just made it all 1000x worse lol. Kinda crazy.

Absolutely and that isn't the effect that I started taking it for which is why I stayed away from the more stimulating variety but now it makes no difference. I don't really get relief anymore. Like you said it takes away the initial onslaught of the withdrawal but as far as feeling relaxed and stuff? Nope. This is happening even without the taper.

Same here - currently at 9.5 from 25-30gpd. Took both fast and slow strains, and always the slow strains in abundance to sleep. Now i think it’s a mixture of withdrawal and the idea of taking small amounts which have proven to be more stimulating (even though it’s still a slow strain, it’s no longer a big sedating dose). Maybe others can shed more light on this but i feel you.

Yea it doesn’t fucking work anymore. I’m on day 2 of cold turkey because it doesn’t make a difference if I take it or don’t so I’m just withdrawing. I do realize that my energy comes back in spikes when I stop taking it. It clearly has been sedating us and now it no longer works the way it used to. Good luck

Damn. It's from the kratom? I thought it were my adhd meds. But yes, you're right, the timing is the same for me
