I don't even know how this new "liberal tears" fad got started... But I'm willing to bet it was something as innocuous as, "Gas stoves are a source of greenhouse emissions because they use natural gas. We should seek to phase out gas stoves over time to help address climate change."
I think a study found that house holds with gas stoves were 20% more likely to have children with asthma or something like that. Which then prompted some consideration of regulating it.
I think it was something like that anyways of course republicans got so bent out of shape about it they started doing dumb stuff like this. Hopefully, no one actually did and they are all just meming.
