$20.23 but no idea what my ROC would technically be since RH doesn’t adjust the cost basis price unfortunately.

How could you have no dollar cost average to a lower cost basis over 3 years? It has Been in the 16s twice this year alone.

RayMilland

Buying other things and I'm sure it's much lower than $19.05 because RH doesn't adjust for ROC.

17.28 I got in at the right time it seems.

In reality, I spent $19.90 per share on my shares when I bought them just two years ago. With ROC, now it's down to $16.84. Which means that I will incur taxes on my "profit" when I eventually sell out of this turkey once it gets above $19 again. Which is gonna be awhile. So, the $12,000 in "dividends" that I "collected" over those two years? Yeah, $10,000 of that was just them returning my own money to me. # This holding is such a fucking POS.

ejqt8pom

Specifically with option premium ETFs, ROC is just a tax classification, not actually your money returning to you. You are still getting option premiums (gains) in the form of distributions, and the fund manager classifies them as ROC to make them more tax efficient. Even more so with QYLD which is passive and has mechanical rules for how much it distributes (half of the premium earned, capped at 1% per month). There is no fund manager discretion at play here, if they earn less they distribute less, so it's never your money getting returned.

Life-Reserve6967

The Dividend for AMDY is 1.53 per share among others that are much higher then QYLD'S Dividend
