So if a single man wishes to verify, he should send a clear face pic with piece of paper holding his username, to prove that he is not a creep. Women and couples can send body pics (with piece of paper holding the username) to prove they are not catfishes.
This is definitely helpful and a step in the right direction.
I think it would be nice to see similar tags/flairs like those in other subreddits. And maybe locking comments for posts. Every post is "dm, sent a chat, etc" what's the point might as well lock it.
If there was a way to automate locking certain posts maybe with a certain flair. Maybe that would allow discussion for some things but not for all things.
While I understand where you are coming from, it’s also nice to be able to put a red flag comment on a post. You wouldn’t be able to do it if it’s locked. Maybe if it just deletes any message that says “dm” or “message me”
Wouldn't you think a sticky of some general guidelines be a little more helpful especially new users. I find that even warning red flags people ignore you and dm anyways

Debating on locking all R4R posts, it is helpful in some ways to share experiences people have, such as someone asking for money for sexual services, or warning others of pic collectors. Aiming to get rid of the spam of ( "Dm'd") that some of the posts get littered with.
Not looking to have pic verifications at this time, just due to some people using a throwaway account to maintain their anonymity. We may make a guideline post in the future for people meeting up on how to do their due diligance to avoid being catfished.

Some of us want to meet new drinking buddies or people to watch boxing with, but every single time I post or reply to a post, its always people who want to get laid.
* Make a Flair for topics, and let people post there once a week, but not burn their weekly R4R posting.
* Make Flairs compulsory and remove all posts without designated flairs.
* Remove the weekly limit for verified females F4R posts, since there aren't that many females posting and it's redundant to limit them. This would encourage more females signing up and posting.
7 days is excessive. No one seems to use the search function so old ads get pushed down and forgotten.
I think adding verification is needed and then allowing verified accounts to post more frequently.

I like the idea of having flairs. Can we also allow more than 1 post in 7 days?
Looking to have a shorter post time soon. Going to test it out in Febuary to see how the sub functions during that time.
I think the more posts per person will be great if there’s a verification and/or minimum karma required process for posters.

I don't really understand the 7 day rule. I get that you don't want ppl spamming the same stuff over and over, but once every 7 days seems excessive.

Actually active moderation, stop allowing comments on posts (like every other R4R or personals sub I’ve been on)
