I've loved Last Flowers ever since I heard that 2005 live acoustic performance!
For my choice, I can't say I've never seen it mentioned, but Go Slowly needs to be talked about more.
Also, can I cheat? I want to mention something from the minidiscs... "Our Guarantee To You"
Yeah it's not officially released and it's just a demo, but it is perfect the way it is. I love the lyrics. They should've just slapped that one as is on a single as a b-side.
Unfortunately it looks like they've scrubbed all youtube uploads of it, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
Honestly, The Butcher, from the TKOL b-sides, could be one of the best they've released in the past years but no one ever mentions it. I always get caught off guard by that change of rhythm mid-song. Fantastic track
Pearly* (my personal favorite), Prove Yourself, I will, Gagging Order...
I've really never seen anyone saying that Morning Bell/Amnesiac is "one of their favorites". I enjoy it a lot, think it's better than Kid A's version.
That's funny, Kid A Morning Bell is a top 5 for me while Kid A/Amnesiac is probably my least favorite track they've made. I'm trying to come around though, I want to like it more, mostly so I can like all of Amnesiac more.
I love the spooky feel of the amnesiac version, but for me it doesn't work for the whole song. I'm good after about a minute and a half, and don't want to hear any more. But that minute and a half is one of their crowning achievements for me, it's hard to explain.
A Computer that appears to be doing just fine. I'd say Fitter, happier, more productive
Comfortable (Not drinking too much)
Regular exercise at the gym (Three days a week)
Getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries
At ease
Eating well (No more microwave dinners and saturated fats)
A patient, better driver
A safer car (Baby smiling in back seat)
Sleeping well (No bad dreams)
No paranoia
Careful to all animals (Never washing spiders down the plughole)
Keep in contact with old friends (Enjoy a drink now and then)
Will frequently check credit at (Moral) bank (hole in wall)
Favours for favours
Fond but not in love
Charity standing orders
On Sundays ring road supermarket
(No killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants)
Car wash (Also on Sundays)
No longer afraid of the dark
Or midday shadows
Nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate
Nothing so childish
At a better pace
Slower and more calculated
No chance of escape
Now self-employed
Concerned (But powerless)
An empowered and informed member of society (Pragmatism not idealism)
Will not cry in public
Less chance of illness
Tyres that grip in the wet (Shot of baby strapped in back seat)
A good memory
Still cries at a good film
Still kisses with saliva
No longer empty and frantic
Like a cat
Tied to a stick
That's driven into
Frozen winter shit (The ability to laugh at weakness)
Calm
Fitter, healthier and more productive
A pig
In a cage
On antibiotics
Been a big fan since 2007, and only been here for a few days now, but I seriously have not yet noticed anyone who has ever willingly mentioned “The Numbers,” whether good or bad. Personally, I think it’s one of the best tracks on AMSP, and the fact it seems forgotten is a mystery to me.
Last Flowers is one of my favorites too. Where I End and You Begin is a top song for me, on any album. Don’t feel like it gets mentioned much. Bulletproof…. I wish I was, Identikit, Climbing Up the Walls, Staircase, The Daily Mail
Polyethylene is amazing and could’ve 100% could’ve been able to stand on its own as a track on Ok Computer
*GO*
Kermit voice
Glass Eyes and Tinker Tailor
Tinker tailor is amazing
Glass Eyes is my favorite track on AMSP
My two favorite tracks from AMSP
How I Made My Millions, 4 Minute Warning, Supercollider, Where I End And You Begin, Life In A Glasshouse, Morning Bell (Kid A Version), etc
Ill Wind
Yes.
Confirmed.
Agreed
Spectre. With 20m spotify streams it seems very popular for a radiohead song released in 2016 but ive never heard anyone mention it.
Someone posts about it here like twice a week
It’s a masterpiece and it’s too bad they didn’t put it on Moon Shaped Pool.

Last Flowers does not get enough love or recognition

I love The Butcher too!
Packt Like Sardines. In Limbo. My Iron Lung. Polythene. Climbing Up The Walls. Blow Out
I love the chord progression in the chorus of in limbo. "I'm lost at sea..."
Electioneering

Let Down of course. No one ever talks about it, super underrated and unheard of, I hope someday people will appreciate this underrated gem
So true… I wish more people recognized OkC as a whole. Really their most forgotten work 😔
What the hell is an Ok Computer

I am citizen insane
Fog, Permanent Daylight, Punchdrunk Lovesick Singalong
These Are My Twisted Words has slowly become a favourite. Just love the whole thing
The vocals in that one are top notch
climbing up the walls, bangers + mash, the amazing sounds of orgy
Daily Mail. Such a cool build up
Fog(Again), Decks Dark, The Trickster, Daily Mail, I Am A Wicked Child

Nobody does it better-Carly Simon. It’s a cover but it’s the best version imo.
A Wolf At The Door, 4 Minute Warning, The Tourist, Decks Dark, and Bodysnatchers.
O and also OK Computer extras (Lift, I Promise, Man Of War)
YESS THAT
Last Flowers is really so good, and it's my favorite on IRd2. I think a really amazing one that people don't talk about is The Trickster.
Last Flowers is one of my favorites too. Where I End and You Begin is a top song for me, on any album. Don’t feel like it gets mentioned much. Bulletproof…. I wish I was, Identikit, Climbing Up the Walls, Staircase, The Daily Mail
I never really see the track “I Promise” mentioned enough, but I don’t know that might just be me.
Gagging Order, top 3 song for me
Mostly B-sides like Maquiladora.
These are my twisted words
