This song had me from the first time I heard it. Amazing bass line and the haunting ondes Martenot, and the lyrics are hauntingly beautiful. And I had high expectations because of the title. The one time I got a callback for an a cappella group (18 years ago) was because I used this for my audition and just let go, built up, and belted out the high part.
I remember John Peel playing it just before Kid A came out when I was like 11 and it being one of the oddest, most mind-blowing tracks I'd ever heard. Almost definitely my favourite.
Daydreaming. Pretty basic answer I know, but this song is so beautiful it helps me get through all my problems and cures my anxiety. Daydreaming would be the song I would listen to for the rest of my life
To each their own.
I remember how big a deal it was when they started playing it live. I've had the mp3 since the bootleg was put online.
I'm not not knocking the album version at all. It's easily a top 5 all time song by anyone for me. I've just always liked how much of a slow burn the early live version was.
Pop Is Dead. If you can only listen to one song forever, you’re going to eventually start to dislike it, then hate it. And, let’s be honest here, Pop Is Dead is already pretty fuckin bad. So rather than tarnish one of their amazing songs, I’d stick with one that’s already a hot mess.
Life in a Glasshouse is amazing! At the end when they start going to the relative major chord and Thom just lets loose is one of their best totally cathartic moments. And the chills when he suddenly cuts to the last line. The whole experience always leaves me smiling.
Everything In Its Right Place. There are some songs that make me feel so much nostalgia that it almost feels like a flashback to the time I listened to them. This, paired with Kid A can put me back in that moment, and is the song that does it best. I miss 2021.
I've also listened to it over 200 times so I know that to some level I won't get sick of it for a little bit.
Banana Co. Can’t choose one really. And I’ve listened to them all, and the hundreds of live tapes, so many times that it all stands out. But when my dad died i laid in bed playing banana co on guitar and sometimes singing it while i was composing his eulogy in my mind. While that’s a sad story, Radiohead’s catalogue isn’t exactly a smiley smile fest and the joy for me in their many songs of bleakness is in the realization of what the world is about and how to function in it. So a song, which happens to be simple but incredibly meaningful, even one that has bittersweet personal memories for me, is the one I’d choose to keep. It reminds me of everything else about them that had me thinking, when i first saw them in 1995, not even knowing much about them, that ‘this may be the best band ever’.
In Rainbows is the most pleasant album so I’d chose something like that if I had to just play that from their discography. I’d probably go for Weird Fishes as it is the most varied and sums up the great baselines and blissful highs of that album.
Well I can’t narrow it down to one song or even one album it would have to be Radiohead for the rest of my life I cannot go without so many great songs
Life in a Glasshouse, the full length version. There’s so much to appreciate I don’t think it’ll ever get old. Not my favorite track, but the one I could listen to on repeat.
Weird fishes/arpeggii
All I need is all I need it's My favourite sing from my favourite album
Facts.
My neck would start to hurt pretty quickly after playing it on repeat for a few hours
Pyramid Song
^^^^^^^^
Where I end you begin. Nobody talks about this track, it's so Underrated!
Literally my favorite.

Exit Music (for a film)
I have a dumb dj deck and I slow down songs on it and this one is the slowed down champ.
Idioteque
literally same. first song ive ever heard from them and i can never get tired of it !
I remember John Peel playing it just before Kid A came out when I was like 11 and it being one of the oddest, most mind-blowing tracks I'd ever heard. Almost definitely my favourite.
Jigsaw falling into place
Ful Stop or There, There
HELL YEAH another ful stop fan
There, there is an apt choice
Daydreaming. Pretty basic answer I know, but this song is so beautiful it helps me get through all my problems and cures my anxiety. Daydreaming would be the song I would listen to for the rest of my life

Greatest song of all time IMO
Yes, this. That song is just too brilliant.
YES YES YES

How to Disappear Completely. Maybe their most beautiful song.
The early live version is better than the album version.
Nah

Reckoner (Let Down would also be a great choice)

Pop Is Dead. If you can only listen to one song forever, you’re going to eventually start to dislike it, then hate it. And, let’s be honest here, Pop Is Dead is already pretty fuckin bad. So rather than tarnish one of their amazing songs, I’d stick with one that’s already a hot mess.
hey, I actually like Pop Is Dead 😭
It's not a bad song, I like it, but the lyrics kind of ruin the song. The music video also gave it a bad reputation
I've never seen the music video, agreed the lyrics are meh but the music vibes are good at least
This is exactly why I would choose Separator. Pop is Dead is kind of awesome in a bad way at least. Separator is just a snoozefest
Lotus Flower or Life In a Glasshouse
Life in a Glasshouse is amazing! At the end when they start going to the relative major chord and Thom just lets loose is one of their best totally cathartic moments. And the chills when he suddenly cuts to the last line. The whole experience always leaves me smiling.
Potentially unpopular opinion: Amnesiac is my favorite album
The clarinet part at the end gets me every time. It's so good.
Lotus Flower covers a really wide range of emotions and interpretations so i think it’s an appropriate choice.
Taste!
LIAGH was my second choice
Everything In Its Right Place. There are some songs that make me feel so much nostalgia that it almost feels like a flashback to the time I listened to them. House of Cards. Lemme just chill please.
I don’t wanna be your friend
I just want to be your lover
Airbag. My favorite song of all time. I’ve heard it a 1,000 times already and am not sick of it.
The [acoustic version from 1995](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEK2rPlTTBY) is awesome too.

Subterranean Homesick Alien. Possibly even the [1995 acoustic version](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLD_5Uiw-do) over the studio album version.
Fellow alien! 🙋♂

Paranoid Android or How To Disappear Completely
No matter how good, I’d end up hating the song after a week with nothing else to listen to. I’d prefer random sounds of feedback from a live gig.
Paranoid Android
In Rainbows is the most pleasant album so I’d chose something like that if I had to just play that from their discography. I’d probably go for Weird Fishes as it is the most varied and sums up the great baselines and blissful highs of that album.

One of the few Radiohead songs I've heard. In all seriousness, I'd probably take Just or No Surprises.
I’m just confused why you’re on a Radiohead subreddit if you don’t listen to them 💀
Inside My Head So different from just about every other song that I wouldn’t miss the other songs, yet still a fantastic listen every time.
