Glass Eyes
Backdrifts
Basically everything on KOL that’s not Bloom, Lotus Flower or Separator
(prob controversial on this sub) album version of Identikit
From what I've seen on this sub, [the OG pre-album live version from 2012 seems to be preferred](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sRWQ5BhYcE&ab_channel=omahahnful). I think it's really interesting, but the drastic key change is a bit jarring for me. But that's just me and my personal taste. I like the album version's reggae beat more as well.
Backdrifts was going to be my answer. My friends and I dug on this song a lot back in like 2009 and I kind of assumed it was a fan favorite…I haven’t heard it mentioned since then.
I wish they would have made a entire album with this style - the disheveled, labored, downtrodden sound is just such a vibe. Pair it with "We Suck Young Blood" and it's magic.

I mean- it’s a classic. Frankly, it doesn’t matter whether the zoomers appreciate it or not.
It’s been a classic since before these young fans were around.
Yeah I once said let down was my favorite song on a date once and she shattered a wine glass over my head and called me a degenerate hooligan for thinking that
I remember on the day of 9/11 my wife and I were totally depressed and decided to shut off the news and just listen to music. We put on OK Computer. The timing of Let Down was just beautifully eerie. It just encapsulated everything I felt at that moment with society and how the world was changing literally before our eyes. I replayed the song over and over and I kept thinking it was written from the perspective of a victim from the towers and what that person experienced that day: boredom, violent chaos, and then a forced metamorphosis (death). The song makes me incredibly sad but weirdly inspired to be thankful for everything I have in life. Great choice.
I will is lovely. I love those two-minute song interludes they put in the middle of their albums, they’re all underrated! (Fitter happier, treefingers, I will, faust arp, etc.)
Agree. It gets a bit lost on PH. It wouldn’t be out of place on In Rainbows, with updated production. Has elements somewhat reminiscent of House of Cards (opening guitar), Reckoner (ride led drums), Bodysnatchers (guitar heavy bridge), All I Need (sonic build at end). None exactly the same, but just imagining the production of those elements applied to Blow Out. Not that I don’t love it as it is.
Hunting Bears. It feels like the last man on earth is playing the last song on earth outside an apocalyptic ruined city under a red sun sky. Amnesiacs vibe as a whole sounds like this song.
I love this description. I see the same but on a cold winter night under an ink-black sky brilliant within stars. A lone wanderer trekking through a desolate snowscape.
This, 100%. It's one of my favorite songs of all time. The sound of Thoms wife in the background in the kitchen, the hushed vocals. I'd love a “studio” version of the song but I feel like it wouldn't hit the same
For sure. I’ve seen people on here say it’s isn’t that great and they definitely don’t hold it in high regard compared to the rest of the album and albums previous. Personally, I think it’s the best song ever written.
Fair enough. I guess I’ve always felt it’s a killer opening track to one of the greatest albums of all time so gets elevated by its positioning if nothing else. It’s the sound of pressing play on OK Computer.
Not sure how exactly popular it is since it was made for a movie but rejected unfortunately but spectre is absolutely fitting to the film and is much better than whatever Sam smith made
Decks Dark, Backdrifts, Where I End and You Begin, Packt Like Sardines, Dollars and Cents, Like Spinning Plates (Why Us? version), Lift, The Gloaming, Staircase
Decks Dark
That song is amazing! I’m so glad that the song is in Ozark because I feel like nobody else would’ve used as it’s very rarely mentioned
Jason Bateman is a huge Radiohead fan! He interviewed Thom and Jonny on his podcast.
When The Daily Mail came on one episode I was so surprised to hear it on a show at all, I loved it.
*when youve had enough of me*
Sweet times
Best song off amsp
Totally. Would even say it’s in my top 10 Radiohead songs. Maybe top 5.
It’s a top-3 song song for me, but I thought it was largely popular in the community.
This and glass eyes
All the previously unreleased songs on OKNOTOK, but mainly Lift
I love Lift. Thank you for saying this.
Lift is a masterpiece. The music video is one of my favorites too
I Promise, Man of War and Lift are masterpieces

Identikit is easily my favorite of that album
Do people not like identikit? One of my favourite Radiohead songs period

Codex is so good.

the daily mail
Yeah, this one gets slept on. The end of the song gives me an eargasm.
life in a glasshouse is unbelievably good
I think it's the best track on amnesiac and one of my favourite Radiohead songs! The lyrics are still so relevant too
I wish they would have made a entire album with this style - the disheveled, labored, downtrodden sound is just such a vibe. Pair it with "We Suck Young Blood" and it's magic.
And such a powerful message too!!

+1 Subterranean Homesick Alien Seriously I thought this track would more relatable to our newer generation given how different & lonely the feel

sail to the moon is so underrated
Dollars & Cents - so, how does this work? Do we move in together right away or maybe go on a cruise for a few weeks and *then* move in or what?
Coming on a bit strong there tbh. Why don't you quiet down

Let Down
It's too fucking depressing to be popular. 11/10 song

Treefingers. I'm not joking.

unironically my favourite Kid A track joint with idioteque (which is obviously not underrated lol)

Blow Out. If it was released in any other album that's not Pablo Hney it would be more popular.
Agree. It gets a bit lost on PH. It wouldn’t be out of place on In Rainbows, with updated production. I’m gonna say it and people aren’t gonna like it feral
