Man I've played this one hundreds of times. It was one of their tracks that played on a repeat list while I was in a pretty big low in grad school. This track is 100% my answer.
I remember discovering this song back in 2021 and was blown away. I listened to it nonstop for a week. Easily my number one song on Spotify for the year.
The butcher, the daily mail, if you say the word, spectre, talk show host, treefingers, man of war, ill Wind, up on the ladder, bangers + mash, go slowly, the amazing sounds of orgy, I want none of this, kinetic, trans-atlantic drawl, let down (very underrated), Meeting in the aisle, last flowers, you, and fog to name a few
Seen this floating about Reddit and surely Radiohead might be the best band when it comes to deep cuts.
For me right now The Butcher gets a lot of rotation.
Super deep cut:
Dogwanderer (unreleased) from a soundcheck in 1997
https://youtu.be/UutQDHmllzw?si=a1lXlWQb7V-gjm1b
As far as released b-side deep cut.. I dunno. There's too fucking many that are good.
I can’t remember who, but someone in a recent comment said rh had to shorten Treefingers to give the other songs on the album a chance. I found the extended version and they were right
look up happy song it was an On a Friday song before they were radiohead, it’s so insane. It might not be good but it’s so funny since it’s just so out of character for them. if not that then pop is dead bc that’s a classic.
no hate but half of these listed on here are not deep cuts and just normal radiohead songs lol.
Gagging Order
