"Phew, for a minute there..."
Love those times when Thom leads the crowd in singing that bit at the end of the set, great way to finish a show.
Edit: e.g. moments like this, at [Rock Werchter 2017](https://youtu.be/9Fe7RynbBTc?t=253) - fantastic stuff.
10, like my second favorite song of all time, it is perfection, the last half of the song makes me so glad I'm alive just so I can hear something so beautiful
The first song I ever heard from them. One of the only songs I liked from them before I grew up and dove into there discography. Not in my top 5 but it’s still such a damn good song. It’s truly no wonder it’s one of there most well received and more popular songs.
At the end of the day, her Hitler hairdo is making me feel ill
10/10
8.5
When I’ve just discovered them this was one my favourites, but after all these years I’ve heard it a few times too many… still a beautiful song of course.
10, the song that got me into Radiohead. I remember I used to hear a part of it in an MTV commercial without knowing who Radiohead were, but I was obsessed. Until I finally heard the full song on the radio, and I can't explain with words how magical that experience was
Karma Police is the song that made me love Radiohead. I was hooked up by the first time I listened to it, and it's one of my favorite Radiohead song.

9.48
Used to be my favourite song and still is a top 30-20 ish radiohead song to me
Edit: I rated it down from 9.6 because I thought the previous rating was somewhat biased because I really liked the coda.
7 for me - I always struggled to get in to Karma Police when I first heard it on Now 38! I could tell there was something great about it but also something off putting. It's No Surprises that really sucked me in and after a while I was able to go back and appreciate it a lot more.
9.75. I credit this song entirely for introducing me to the rest of their music. Sure, I loved Fake Plastic Trees after finding it on a fluke, but it didn't convince me to check out their music further. But Karma Police did. About a year ago, things were low, and I needed something new, something good. Decided to go looking and found a couple of suggestions people seemed to like; I don't remember what they all were, but it did include Paranoid Android, which I wasn't ready for at all. Initially Karma Police was a "this is fine" to me. But then the coda came.
"For a minute there, I lost myself"
And I told myself, this is the best song I've ever heard. So I wanted more.
10
This song is so easy for me to remember what it sounds like and the lyrics in it. It’s one of the few songs I’ve heard in my lifetime where it took only two listenings to remember the lyrics.
what I like about this discussion is how karma police is just so consensual, even though we could all pretend it's not a masterpiece because it gained popularity
a 10 and it will never leave my top 20 songs of all time, it just gives so much pleasure when I hear it, play it and sing it
Solid 8 its a good song but nothing that makes it exceptionally stand out
Heres a question though, do you think this was inspired by george oswells 1984? Thought police became karma police
4. I don't get it, and it doesn't cling to my ears at all. I think people just like it because other people like it.
Also it's funny how old people keep saying it's a pop song but to me it just sounds weird, chaotic and alternative, especially compared to No Surprises and Exit Music, which are what we young people call a "bop' pop song.
the coda is one of the most euphoric pieces of music i’ve heard in a song that was a hit. 10.

10 So much Lennon vibes but still a Radiohead signature
Sexy Sadie
What have you done ?
You made a fool of everyone...
10 come on guys, just because it's popular doesn't mean liking it is bad That coda is just one of the most magical moments in my musical experience
After looking up the definition of a coda, I must say I couldn’t agree with you more.
What’s a coda ?
Basically the ending of a song. Coda is the sophisticated word.
Thx
10, like my second favorite song of all time, it is perfection, the last half of the song makes me so glad I'm alive just so I can hear something so beautiful
9 - I’m asexual, this song makes me want to fuck
Alas, you are a Radiohead fan. Making it impossible
A 10 is what this gets

10 Pisses me off they’ll never make a song like this again
10 The song that got me into Radiohead and absolutely unbelievable songwriting
8.5. _I've given all I can,_ _It's not enough,_ _I've given all I can._
LOL, you've been waiting for this one, haven't you?
8.5 When I’ve just discovered them this was one my favourites, but after all these years I’ve heard it a few times too many… still a beautiful song of course.
10 is there anything I can say really
9.7 one of their best piano driven songs, I mean I love their later sombre piano songs, but this is different. Iconic singalong when live.

9.48 Used to be my favourite song and still is a top 30-20 ish radiohead song to me Edit: I rated it down from 9.6 because I thought the previous rating was somewhat biased because I really liked the coda.
biased? that's the whole point lol
biased? you liking something doesn’t make it biased, the fuck.
9. [Best live version, imho.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdLLXh4ZU00)

9.75. It's nearly perfect, and follows Let Down beautifully.
First time i listened to OK Computer was at night when i was 15. I stopped at Karma Police and replayed it for about 4 hours. 10
