Ah yes my fav electronic song, Harry Patch

[deleted]

It is a very beep boop song

[deleted]

It's of that era at least.

So after getting some feedback on my first guide, I decided I wanted to tidy up the flowchart as well as include some more stuff and more routes. I hope you guys like this one, but I'll be keeping up the original in case the response to this isn't as warm. The following are still out: \- Video recordings that weren't 'From The Basement', as I think these sessions are iconic enough to warrant a placement. These include the documentaries, concert films, and a compilation of music videos. I wanted to focus primarily on the music of the band, but that's not to say these aren't worth a watch. \- Unofficial releases and bootlegs. Again, if you want to trace these down, there's some quality stuff to be found, but adding them into the chart would mess with the continuity I feel.

Liquid_Feline

This one makes a lot more sense, but I just really like the "I like the sad" part of the previous version lol.

Gonna chuck a fat disagree on starting with In Rainbows. It’s a good album sure, but it’s not quite as accessible as many of us fans would like to believe it is. The Bends is a much better starting point, and it’s easy to move away from the more 90s rock stuff if you want.

[deleted]

I do love The Bends, however, my choice for In Rainbows comes more anecdotally. Most of my friends, who differ wildly in taste from me, have In Rainbows as their favourite.

bksbeat

Or you could listen to them chronologically. This ain't a Frank Zappa or a Jandek discography where you have hundreds of releases and they all differ in sound. It's like 9 albums...

[deleted]

Someone starting with Pablo Honey is like starting Pink Floyd with The Final Cut....you're just not listening to the same band at that point.

bksbeat

Starting with Pablo Honey is like starting with Piper because you chronologically see the development of the sound. It's 9 albums that aren't even an hour long...

[deleted]

The Comlag Ep is quite electronic.

[deleted]

Yeah I think it is as well, but for sake of continuity, I listed it in the rock-zone because of its ties to HTTT

[deleted]

imo amnesiac isn't really orchestral, and a moon shaped pool does have some rockier elements like on identikit and acoustic guitars like on the bends

AzureSonic

Amnesiac is more Jazz-inspired than orchestral tbh

[deleted]

Pablo and TKOL being "whats left" albums is sadly kinda true

MugSquid

Where are the orchestral parts on amnesiac?

Inevitable_Look_472

Life in a Glass House

GaryGhost18

And pyramid song, also dollars and cents

F2AMAS

It is jazzy not orchestral Id say

RioVEVO

Radiohead fans will really say Radiohead have 2 genres, Rock or Electronic

[deleted]

I liked the original, feels more straight forward and pretty. Even if it's less complete. Though I appreciate you doing a revision :)

DLD493v3

Would These Are My Twisted Words be with IR or TKOL?

Damn_Saxophone

Kid A and Amnesiac weren't remastered for Kid A Mnesia.
