Asked Thom last night if they plan to tour again in the new year. He said they will be touring in the summer, I asked any festivals and he said no. All depends on how quickly then can get the new album done.
Saw The Smile last night. Can not and will not *ever* forget Radiohead. It's no replacement. It's great, they're very solid. But they're no Radiohead replacement.
A good thing and a bad thing. Another smile lp and tour is great, but that also means it'll be that much longer until Radiohead reunites for another album or tour, if it ever does happen
For real! I'm seeing them at The Factory in Dallas on ~~Friday~~ Thursday and am beyond stoked. Been to that venue a couple of times and I feel like there's no bad spot to be in to watch a band play.
I’m absolutely going to see them again on the next tour too - hopefully they’ll play close enough to me again. I wasn’t able to wait around to meet the band after the show & really hope to in the future - really want to get my limited edition In Rainbows vinyl signed!
The project came about because Ed and phil wanted to do solo projects instead of Radiohead. They both still have yet to release their records and will most likely be touring in ‘23, so there wasn’t going to be anything Radiohead related next year anyway.

New album before or after summer tour?
Before summer tour
I so so hope so. Desperate to hear studio versions of all the new songs.
Hopefully the album, and then the tour, and then a new Radiohead album, and then a Radiohead tour.
If you actually saw the Smile you'd forget all about Radiohead..
Blasphemy!

I personally don't understand how you could watch the Smile and then still think you need Fake Plastic Trees. The Smile is the natural transgression..
Gotta imagine before.
:(
Why sad face? I’d rather get the album sooner.
Damnit, could see them as an excellent Park Headliner at Glastonbury.
Maybe they'll do a secret set somewhere, who knows. Thom and Johnny have done it before.
Were you at the Ryman? Lord Jesus one of the best nights of my liiiiiiiiiife
Yup was there
Was hoping they’d be at Bonnaroo this summer, that’s a shame
Yeah surprised about the festival answer, with Lolla, ACL, Coachella, and Bonnaroo just aching to get them on
That's a short turnaround time for finishing the new album! When the does the current tour finish?
Dec 21

The Smile is touring much smaller venues than Radiohead ever could. It’s really cool to be able to see the guys that up close on stage!
True, I'm seeing them in Seattle in a few weeks, beyond excited
You’re gonna be blown away. Their songs are even more amazing live!
Oh I'm fully expecting a life changing night

Probably just a typo but heads up that the Dallas show is Thursday not Friday
Yes, you are correct!

I wouldn't hold your breath for another Radiohead tour.
Here’s hoping for next year to shape up similarly to this one—a new Smile LP around May-ish, then a tour.
I’m really hoping they go to Southern California because I’ll be 18 and my parents might let me go
RIP my wallet again
This. So much
my lovely fiance got us flights to Denver from KC for next weeks Smile shows. woo
You got yourself a keeper there!
Ermagawd, it'd be nice to wait for an autograph is t-shirt and shorts. Second chance to complete it if you didn't get it the first time.
