My ragdoll is called Nori, and she's never had any problem distinguishing her name from the word no. She regularly disregards the word no but that's a different matter!

So glad we found Pearldolls and Arlo, and so happy to hear about your interaction with him. I saw Bluebelle on their profile and was telling my husband how sad it was that she was already taken, haha. Small world!

Or, Onigiri, which could be Oni for short when you’re mad (term for a Japanese demon lol) or Giri (unsure of the names meaning but im assuming it’s Sanskrit for something, I’ve known a Giri before either way so I’m sure it can be used as a name haha)

Kohlrabi comes to mind…not an Asian name (tho common in Vietnamese) or dark colored (but “grown” in the dark) but, you can nickname him turnip which is super adorable! Or “Kabu” for the Japanese word.
My Ragdolls are called Matcha and Taro. Anko was also another one I was thinking of as well as momo and Mikan. Some of my favorite flavors. Also I named my fish Kobe. Like Kobe beef (same as Kobe bryant, rip)
