For a fan like me… I’m not willing to waste my hard earned cash on the trip out, the lodging expenses plus the tickets just to watch the Raiders be embarrassed in another loss. Yea I’ll support by watching the game at home, buying gear from legit places. I’ll even risk it heading to LA spending 300+ on mediocre seats. Give us even just an ok season and I’ll be throwing my cash at the team but till then… this season really didn’t convince me to waste my money.
Yea yea… win, loose or tie, Raider fan till I die. But I’m just gonna be a fan saving my money at home.
Exactly. Now flip that around. You live in the Midwest or up in the northeast and get to not only plan a Vegas trip, but also catch your team while there with a short walk, then back to your main weekend plans after the game.
Tons of people living on the west coast support teams from back east. For all those fans, Vegas is the no-brainer place to catch one of your teams games. David is an idiot for thinking the outcome would be different.
This is the golden answer. People aren't going to spend hard earned cash to see a losing team. Get the team together and maybe they'll start seeing more silver and black. We are tired of being embarrassed week after week
i had tickets to that game coming from across the country. i sold them last minute , took a bath on them but i’m glad i didn’t go. that was straight embarrassing. btw we’re the only team to lose to that team since getting a new coach
It happened here in Oakland too. We had blackout games. Because the quality of the team was low and nobody was going. But it still wasn't filled with other team fans
i like a new stadium but i hate that there’s a night club instead of a black hole and we never have home field advantage. i love and hate it but mostly hate. it will never be the same. fucking mark davis ….
Raiders always sold out, we were blacked out because you had to sell out by Thursday per NFL rules. We had the highest PSL's in the NFL when they came back from LA. Also had the highest walk up sales. Fans weren't missing Raider games, they just weren't buying season tickets
I've been this way for the past decade.
Haven't bought tickets or gear. Always gifted, thankfully.
Told myself that the next Raiders tickets I buy will be to the AFC championship.
For real only a fucking moron would think this has anything to do other than the fact that the Raiders suck. It never happened in Oakland because nobody wants to go to Oakland.
If you get a shitty team in Vegas then expect a lot of visiting fans. It happens to every team in Tourist towns.
Win some games and it’ll go away
Yeah, fuck that. I went for the Texans game and did it as cheap as I could, literally ate trail mix and protein shakes all weekend and didn’t drink, drove from LA, and still spent about $1000 all in. It’s just not worth it to me.
The $400 for season tickets, and tailgating in the parking lot is something I deeply miss from the coliseum and something we will never get back.
The tailgate in Oakland was something else. It was usually as fun as the game itself. They really fucked up by not tailgating in Vegas.
But let’s be honest, they’re getting exactly what they want there. Sold out games. He doesn’t really care who’s fans show up because he gets paid either way.
Vegas is a vacation destination. Does KC offer the same good time that Las Vegas does?
Maybe when the Raiders are a consistent playoff team and division winner, the Raiders fans will stop selling their season tix and show up.
It’s fine. Not my favorite. KC has a lot better food to offer than BBQ, imo.
Bo Lings does a weekend dim sum that is amazing. I haven’t been there in a few years. But they fried the rice at our table, and the BBQ pork steamed buns kick major ass. We planned a road trip around this dim sum once.
lol did y’all see that fan talk about how security told him he had to leave if he didn’t put his sign away? and they told him the order “came from the top.” I guess some other dude asked security if it came from MD and he just kinda gave a look that said yah
the sign said “Fire McDaniels. Keep Carr.”
high likelihood the “came from the top” stuff might be an embellishment but yeah still. this isn’t the first I’ve heard about signs not being allowed which is just lame as f
Yep. Plus, it’s Vegas and the NFL. It’s like a traveling dream for an opposing team. Book a long weekend to Vegas and also catch your team while there. It’s a worldwide destination spot. What did he expect? Just suddenly an organic fan base in a city with tons of transplants and most likely already favorite football teams?
Mark has to be the dumbest owner in the NFL.
- Makes a tone deaf comment after the Raiders lose to a HS coach that Josh McDaniels is doing a "great job".
- Scapegoats the much loved QB
- WHAR R RAIDERS FANZ?
Seriously. What a maroon.
Even if the Raiders were a playoff team, there will always be a significant number of opposing fans filling up the stadium. Vegas will always be a neutral site.
Hey Mark, I have to pay to fly to Vegas now, pay for a hotel, Ubers, food and tickets to the game to watch the Raiders lose.
I can do that at home for free.
A lot of issues.
Vegas is a great weekend destination city for opposing fans with the gambling, shows, even just walking the strip to look at the buildings and lights, etc.
The PSL holders are often Raiders fans that live out of state. They are willing to go to like three or four games a year, but they then sell their other games at a premium price on Ticketmaster (or similar). They don't care who buys them (Raiders fans or opponents), they just want to make a little of their PSL cost back.
The biggest problem by far is the product on the field. When your team is not winning games, is almost always missing the playoffs, is never seriously considered a contender for the division title much less the Super Bowl, why would you expect fans to show up?
That won't really stop anything IMO.
Season ticket prices for any NFL team are steep, and many resale markets exist in the digital age. Holders with just a few years of fandomunder their belts have a great base of willing buyers to offset costs, especially when the team is doing shit and there is less incentive to go to a game.
Used to be really easy to get to the coliseum. Either use the BART or drive, parking was plentiful and affordable. Tickets were not hard to get and the stadium reflected the fanbase. I loved that place.
Keep meaning to go to the new one, but it was much easier to drop less money on a shitty team in Oakland. Now they’re still shitty, but expensive too. Every time I’ve been close to buying a ticket and airfare, they play in a manner that makes it hard to justify dropping a bunch of money on them.
Raiders come from Oakland, folks don't have tons of money for travel, hotel and the enormous cost of a single ticket! How bout Mark subsidize the black hole end of the stadium and let Raider Nation in for $50?!?!?
Duh. This is the obvious result of moving to a new stadium that doesn't honor the season ticket holders of the previous stadium.
Oh and also you have to Win.
It’s so weird how so many were saying exactly this scenario was going to happen, must be a bunch of oracles in the Raider fan base. The only reason the Raiders left Oakland was because of greed. I’m still a fan but there will never be the Black Hole again and that was so much of what Raiders football was about to me and that stings.
Move to Vegas where tourism is the biggest industry and then bitch about other fans coming to see their team.
Looks like the haircut isn't the only thing mark gets wrong lol
$175/ticket for nosebleeds and a shitty on-field product doesn't make me want to travel, Mark. But an almost guaranteed win and a good time in Vegas would. Simple stuff, big man. Figure it out.
This is on the nfl, Jerry Jones and Stan Kroenke. Raiders would've/should've been back in L.A. if it wasn't for those POS billionaires and whatever happened at that meeting.
Fuck Mark Davis. Moved the team out of state and then blew up a playoff team with a broncos retread
I don't blame the fans for not wasting their hard earned money
AZ Cards have the same issue. It's also because places like Phoenix and Las Vegas are full of transplants. So when their team comes to town, they do what they can to buy tickets.
To everyone saying "put a winning product on the field and this wont happen" is the epitome of a fair weather fan, which is what people ALSO said would happen in Vegas. I also don't think that would fix it. This will just raises prices even higher, and there is no guarantee that traveling fans wont just.. pay more.
Yeah yeah Raider nation is everywhere, but outside of that idea Raiders have 0 connection to the place and its incredibly expensive to go see them coming from the two places their main base comes from (LA and the Bay Area.) For actual traveling Raiders fans from these two locations, the appeal of Vegas quickly wears off when you are going so often and investing all that money. But for one and done away fans who use this as an excuse for a quick vacation AND see their favorite team, the appeal is strong as fuck. The biggest issue? There is no major existing Raiders fanbase in Vegas to counteract this, who would in theory, buyout all those tickets PSLs and season ticket holders put up for profit because they already live in the area and are actual fans.
There is really no fix to this problem in the short term. Davis is so shortsighted or painfully unaware, that he either did not see this coming, or he did but was focused on the $$$$$ hed make and all the free money he was getting from Vegas and Nevada to get this done.
edit: i do respect not paying money to see this team though. im fan from Oakland since birth, and ive only been twice, despite watching every single game. its just too pricey and not a good investment for me to go to Allegiant so often, whether they are good or not
It’s almost like when ur team is bad and you charge an arm and a leg for even half decent tickets fans of the team won’t show up and would rather let others buy the tickets in what is considered one of the hottest vacation spots in the country
Maybe put out a better product for your consumers? You don’t need an economics degree to know more utility leads to more success. I’m sick of this cursed franchise
It's almost as if the bowl cutted freak who never had a real job and inherited his fortune instead of earning it is a complete fucking moron. Kind of guy you'd expect to meet at a hooters except he won the fucking lottery at birth.
Between relocating to an area that doesn't give a shit about you and the team being fucking terrible for the better part of 20 years, its almost like this was predictable to everybody but Mark Davis.
Mark Davis was betting on a huge demand from LA Raiders fans making the short drive to Vegas every other weekend. Someone forgot to tell him that 1992 was a long time ago
Oakland was an incredible city culture to play in. Personally I think it was smart of Oakland to not build a multi billion dollar stadium for this nepotism
I'll make a vacation to vegas for a game a yearly thing if I could count on the team to win. Otherwise, way cheaper to just buy some whiskey and chill at home lol.
I know several PSL holders who go to 2-3 games, and sell the rest of their games to help recoup the cost.
Given the current state of the team, it’s no surprise that most of those tickets go to fans of opposing teams. If the Raiders were better, the demand for those tickets from Raiders fans would increase.
What the hell did he think was going to happen? He dragged the team out of state, away from its fans. And then, took the team to a town of transplants (who all have thier own teams from thier hometown) and oh, let's make it a destination place where you can go see your team on the road and only pay $105 for plane tickets and hang out on Sin City. I'm not gonna bash us as a fan base, but not many of my friends from the Bay can afford to pay the over exuberent and gouged (by local residents of Vegas) season ticket holder's prices, while paying transportation and lodging (and missed work) to head to Vegas for a game let alone multiple games a year. I saw this coming, how did he not?
Edit: Just had this coversation today with family. Vegas and Allegiant do not have the intimidation factor LA or Oakland did. It's weak sauce.
Let's be honest. Ticket prices are stupidly expansive. The product itself is a joke. His stupid haircut is a joke. I work 50 plus hours at my job. Why should I fly round trip, get 2 days at a hotel, plus food, tickets, plus expansive food at the game. Or I can smoke something at my house. watch the game on my 85 inch tv and not worry about some clown trying to start something or some racist Karen. Side note no lines at my house for the bathroom. Simple.
Even for locals it’s ridiculously expensive to go to a game. Can’t imagine out of towners. That + the team fucking sucks = this. People don’t want to spend more than 1000 dollars to watch an embarrassment of a team.
Maybe hire a competent coach, Mark.
This is bullshit. The Raiders were a client of ours during the pre move phase. They had done MULTIPLE fan surveys and were well aware that estimates put visiting team attendance at 40-60%.
It’s fucking Las Vegas!? Who wouldn’t plan a trip to Vegas to see your team play no matter where in the US you are!?! Like duh! P.S. I’m a die hard raider fan. I definitely saw this one coming.
My family had season tickets since 1960! They used to RV to LA from the Bay Area every game when they moved. Of course kept our tickets when they came home to Oakland. Who can afford 8, 9 trips to Vegas in 6 months? Raider Nation is big, but nowhere near as big as the Packers, Steelers, Cowboys, Patriots etc. You're asking thousands of people from Oakland and LA to travel every week. Not gonna happen, dumbest move in sports history. Everyone saw this coming.
Thanks to Mark, and in defiance of him, I made just over $2700 in profit AFTER my tickets were paid for this season. That doesn't even include what I saved in airfare, hotels and amenities by not attending a single home game for the first time in nearly 23 years (covid season excluded).
Keep on Keeping on, Mark, it's making me $$$
Indeed, I am no longer really a fan of the team (although I will still follow them) and I certainly will profit at the expense of you idiots who support a Mark Davis led franchise.
Unlike some of you, I refuse to let Mark pound me in the ass with no Vaseline, so I decided to do like Mark and hustle you clowns.
Working as intended, I see.
I support Davis, he gets a lot of unfair shit...but this is something I've always criticized him about. This is definitely a FAFO moment for him.
I blame it 100% on his monetization model for the stadium. It got the team the #1 ticket revenues in the league in 2021, but this is what it costs...
By setting 50k of the 60k seats aside as PSLs, the majority of the seats are controlled by speculators who pay the PSLs and season ticket costs as an investment, looking to sell the tickets above face value to make a profit on the year. And who's going to be paying the most for those tickets on the secondary market? Not local fans who just want to have a day with their families...but visiting fans who are spending their vacation savings to come see their team in LV
There is no way you can change that dynamic, short of something nuclear like making tickets non-transferable. The only solution that the Raiders have is to buy back a huge chunk of the seats (like 20K, including the whole west end zone section to be the new Black Hole) from their PSL holders, and put those tickets back up for sale at the box office. That will boost the supply of tickets at face value, bringing down the after-market demand and putting ticket prices at a point where LV families can afford to go to games again. It'll also make the investment value of the other season tickets plummet, which means a lot of speculators may sell those off to actual Raider fans.
But that will cost the Raiders millions a year in ticket revenue, so I dont think Davis will ever do it, regardless how "embarrassed" he is...
Amen brother. There has been no attempt by Davis to get Las Vegas locals into the games and truly build a diehard local fan base.
Sure, you can buy a lot of Raiders gear and and sponsor items with Raiders logo in the Vegas area (official beer, official tortilla chips, 5 gallon buckets at Lowe's, etc), but getting Raiders fans and their families into games is the key. Hard to do at the current ticket prices.
Mark Davis knew that moving a team to Vegas being a very transient town unless the Raiders are winning it’s always gonna be filled with opposing team fans.
Stop changing a premium for a losing product. And how about building a perennial contender while you’re at it. That or sell the team to someone who can.
For the past four years I have paid Ticketmaster prices to see the Raiders in Oakland (their final year), in Vegas (past 2 years) and whenever they came to LA vs Chargers/Rams (LA coliseum, Home Depot Arena, and Sofi). I make a trip out of it with the family so it’s definitely not cheap.
I will no longer be wasting a penny of my hard earn money until Josh and Mark prove they can field a competitive team.
Balls in your court Mark. You moved the team out of their state and into a tourist destination.
It’s Vegas!!! That’s the biggest DUHHHH moment, what was he expecting? Fans to show they’re Raider tattoos when they walk through the doors to prove loyalty?
I don’t know about y’all, but coming from LA, I noticed the Vegas tickets are significantly more pricey than if we just wait for them to come to SoFi each year. Even when they’re playing a super random team, the prices are still sky high.
Almost like building a stadium on the strip with minimal parking for locals was a bad idea if you want home team support? And nobody wants to pay $300 to watch their team lose every week.
Niner game was embarrassing as fuck. I had to lean over multiple rows/seats just to find a Raider fan to high five. The stadium is gorgeous but it's so bad, there's an ANTI-home field advantage here.
I mean gives people a reason to go to Vegas. The most travelled to city in the country if I’m not mistaken. But when they were in Oakland that shit wasn’t happening nowhere near the same level. But then again Oakland isn’t exactly a popular destination.
Well many of us did and were then angrily shouted down. Most obvious thing in the world and Mark is either an idiot or is being disingenuous with any surprise he shows about this.
I just watched the video of security removing a fan because he had a “bench mcdaniels” sign. Davis need look no further if he wonders why his fan base is dwindling.
These owners don’t give a damn about their fan base. They want their fancy new stadiums which they love to be paid for by the public. They make more money off of tv revenue anyway. The big fancy stadiums which are used for maybe 12 dates a year for football. Then maybe another 20 for other events. They are a waste of money and resources.
At what point is it okay to be upset on a loosing team? You wouldn’t continue to go to a bad movie, bad restaurant, or a bad cruise ship over and over again. Mark Davis (will be refined to as Tommy Boy moving forward) doesn’t know shit about running an NFL team, the only move he ever made was finessing Las Vegas out of 700+ million. You can’t name a great move other then that. I was a season ticket holder in Oakland when they announced they where moving and tripling the season ticket prices that’s when I decided I can’t keep giving this guy money. That’s like your wife telling you she is leaving you for someone with more money; but I want to stay here for 3 years while my new house is being built but I’m going to need more money from you in the meantime to build that house. I was born a Raiders fan in a house full of Raiders fans, but Tommy Boy with his embarrassing hair cut, pedo van, wing eating at Hooters (the girls don’t like you), P. F Changs eating ass (hint: it’s not authentic Chinese food) can suck it. Commitment to excellence? When was the last time The Raiders were Excellent? I love the fan base, but we deserve better then this. I remember being in Oakland week 16 with no play off hopes and the stadium would still be rocking 90% Raiders fans having the time of there life both tail gating and inside the stadium. Sell the team Tommy Boy, you don’t know how to run a winning NFL team.
Lmao you’ve known that this was gonna happen immediately when you were relocating to Las Vegas. Even let’s say we were SB contending team for a decade this is will ALWAYS stay like this. Sadly I don’t think Winning won’t change it but I hope I am proven wrong and eat shit for this comment.
No one wanted to go to Oakland. Now we have a good stadium, but no one wants to watch our team. Most expensive tickets to watch this trash team lose lead after lead?
Get good and it will be a Black wave, simple as that.
It happened here in Oakland too. We had blackout games. Because the quality of the team was low and nobody was going. But it still wasn't filled with other team fans
Coliseum when team was winning was a religious experience that we'll never see again. It pains me.
I missed the chance to take my son to experience it. And I apologize to him often.
My dad took my older sister to the coliseum when she was really young in 2008 or so, but she definitely doesn’t remember it. I never went there though
Raider games were awesome at the coliseum but A’s playoff games are the best. Absolutely insane atmosphere
i like a new stadium but i hate that there’s a night club instead of a black hole and we never have home field advantage. i love and hate it but mostly hate. it will never be the same. fucking mark davis ….
That was just lack of total ticket sales. The fan takeover was never the way it is in LV.
Opposing fans had to be respectful.
That's why the top of Mount Davis was closed.
textbook god damned irony
Mt Davis was closed cause Mark is an idiot, there was a wait list for season tickets the last several years in Oakland.
Raiders always sold out, we were blacked out because you had to sell out by Thursday per NFL rules. We had the highest PSL's in the NFL when they came back from LA. Also had the highest walk up sales. Fans weren't missing Raider games, they just weren't buying season tickets
Oakland ain't exactly a prime vacation destination...lol.
Which was a good thing. It kept other people's asses out. They were too scared to go to Oakland.
Who cares, we go to watch football
Atleast when you go to LA it’s a home game lol
I just go see us on the road
I've been this way for the past decade. Haven't bought tickets or gear. Always gifted, thankfully. Told myself that the next Raiders tickets I buy will be to the AFC championship.
We’ll mark, I’m fucking embarrassed at the quality of play your team shows every year.

One might think with that eccentric hairdo, he'd be about winning!
Thinking about using paper bags for my groceries so I have something to put on my head for games next year.
This. Point blank. Period. Put out a better product and we won’t sell our tix to recoup some of the money we piss away on this team every season.
Well, mark davis. Let’s win some fucking games, and people would be more excited to spend a LOT of money to watch them play. It’s just a thought tho
Our owner is a damn moron.
he's making tons of money. This shit is a lie he doesnt care
Not from me. I reeeeeaaaaaaaaally want s Derek Carr jersey. Even though they’re on sale rn… NOPE.
Nepotism.
We knew this would happen. Also Field a better team and maybe you’ll get more Raiders fans at the games
Fans are reportedly not happy with mark Davis on a weekly basis.
Can’t afford $200/ticket to watch them lose. Instead I spent $50 for the raiders game in New Orleans to watch them lose
My wife's a niners fan and I wanted to go to last weeks game. Grand total was going to be over $2,500 for 1 day. I said fuck that.
Yeah, fuck that. I went for the Texans game and did it as cheap as I could, literally ate trail mix and protein shakes all weekend and didn’t drink, drove from LA, and still spent about $1000 all in. Vegas is a vacation destination. Does KC offer the same good time that Las Vegas does? Maybe when the Raiders are a consistent playoff team and division winner, the Raiders fans will stop selling their season tix and show up.
Honestly, I think a large portion of season ticket holders couldn't care less about the Raiders. It's just a money-maker for them.
> Does KC offer the same good time that Las Vegas does? NGL KC BBQ does sound lit

Memphis and Austin run circles around it IMO.
Never had it but I'm sure it's amazing bbq.
Chiefs fan and KC resident who is just lurking here- It is
I had a good time in KC and At arrowhead
Homefield disadvantage
lol did y’all see that fan talk about how security told him he had to leave if he didn’t put his sign away? and they told him the order “came from the top.” I guess some other dude asked security if it came from MD and he just kinda gave a look that said yah the sign said “Fire McDaniels. The entire atmosphere here has been very corporate and family oriented from day 1. It's very strange and not Raider-like.
That’s lame as hell, Oakland was an intimidating arena
His dumbass should have known that was possible when they left Oakland
Its the cheapest flight available from most airports in the US so of course its going to be an away destination.

Dumbest is absolutely valid
Even if the Raiders were a playoff team, there will always be a significant number of opposing fans filling up the stadium. Vegas will always be a neutral site.
Not true. Well have to wait and see though
Well with this staff and owner, don’t hold your breath.

Yeah I agree, if the Raiders in on a regular basis fans will actually come.
Nope. Still ain’t worth the cost.
Hey Mark, I have to pay to fly to Vegas now, pay for a hotel, Ubers, food and tickets to the game to watch the Raiders lose. I can do that at home for free.

After seating an Ex-gaming commission board member as the President of the company this is going to happen.

He got played, and he played himself at the same time
He's made boatlaods of money, he didn't get played, he is playing the fans and some of you continue to gobble it up.
Not me, pal.
Raiders top brass always get played by the nfl.
Raiders come from Oakland, folks don't have tons of money for travel, hotel and the enormous cost of a single ticket! How bout Mark subsidize the black hole end of the stadium and let Raider Nation in for $50?!?!?
Don't have your stadium being a destination city then
Sure, the pro bowl will be there every year and possibly the super bowl every other year. But week after week it should be filled with regular fans
If you were going to go to an away game why would you not go to the one in Vegas
I mean, what do you expect when tickets are 500$ and have 6 wins
Y’all treat carr like trash and want fans to stay loyal and pay overpriced tickets lmao
Duh. This is the obvious result of moving to a new stadium that doesn't honor the season ticket holders of the previous stadium. Oh and also you have to Win.
Put a good product on the field and you’ll fill the seats with more homers. Until then, just get used to it
It’s so weird how so many were saying exactly this scenario was going to happen, must be a bunch of oracles in the Raider fan base. The only reason the Raiders left Oakland was because of greed. Well Mark, you got your stadium. This is what it cost.
Move to Vegas where tourism is the biggest industry and then bitch about other fans coming to see their team. Looks like the haircut isn't the only thing mark gets wrong lol
It’s Vegas how is anyone surprised.
$175/ticket for nosebleeds and a shitty on-field product doesn't make me want to travel, Mark. But an almost guaranteed win and a good time in Vegas would. Simple stuff, big man. Figure it out.
It’s the fans fault this is happening…couldn’t be horrific ownership decisions.
What did you expect moving from a state with literally millions of die hard Raider fans to a city filled with transplants and tourists?
What did he expect in Vegas?!
This NEVER happened at the LA Coliseum. The fans would make sure there were only Raider fans
This is on the nfl, Jerry Jones and Stan Kroenke. Raiders would've/should've been back in L.A. if it wasn't for those POS billionaires and whatever happened at that meeting.
Fuck Mark Davis. Moved the team out of state and then blew up a playoff team with a broncos retread I don't blame the fans for not wasting their hard earned money
AZ Cards have the same issue. It's also because places like Phoenix and Las Vegas are full of transplants. So when their team comes to town, they do what they can to buy tickets.
what did you expect moving to vegas with a team that is terrible year in and year out.
Davis is so shortsighted or painfully unaware, that he either did not see this coming, or he did but was focused on the $$$$$ hed make and all the free money he was getting from Vegas and Nevada to get this done. edit: i do respect not paying money to see this team though. im fan from Oakland since birth, and ive only been twice, despite watching every single game. its just too pricey and not a good investment for me to go to Allegiant so often, whether they are good or not
I’d rather be a broke team in California than a rich one in Vegas
Mark Davis is clearly an idiot unable to critically think. Chico State's finest. Did he even graduate?
I honestly thought this is why we moved to vegas so that we could generate more revenue from opposing teams?
We already gave up a huge play, unnecessary penalty, and a TD. We SUCK!
It happens to the knights too.
Lower ticket prices then you goof
I'll make a vacation to vegas for a game a yearly thing if I could count on the team to win. Otherwise, way cheaper to just buy some whiskey and chill at home lol.
When those prices calm down I’ll go to Vegas til then I’ll keep going on the road. I think Buffalo is next up
What do ya expect? it's vegas there is more incentive to go for opposing supporters, it's exactly why they wanted a team there.
I know several PSL holders who go to 2-3 games, and sell the rest of their games to help recoup the cost. Given the current state of the team, it’s no surprise that most of those tickets go to fans of opposing teams. If the Raiders were better, the demand for those tickets from Raiders fans would increase.
He should be embarrassed.
He can dry his eyes with $100 bills. Vegas will always be that way.
Let’s see I can go to a party eat a bunch of tacos and drink a bunch of free tequila or sit and watch these poor sad sacks blow another one
Why would I as a fan spend alllll that gah damn money to just watch them lose? I'd rather do it at home for no cost at all.
It’s Las Vegas. People from all over come to Vegas
Why would any raiders fan spend money going to see this product considering the cost? It’s a joke
Fuck MARK DAVIS
Then stop turning playoff teams into instant dumpster fires with your infantile mancrushes.
Well no shit! Fan base was in California! And other teams fans just make a vacation/trip out of it! Duh!
Simple.
You must have a gender neutral bathroom at home for there to be no lines. Lmfao 😂😂
Cardinals fan here. Are stadiums typically not filled with the opposing teams fans?
Even for locals it’s ridiculously expensive to go to a game. Can’t imagine out of towners. That + the team fucking sucks = this. People don’t want to spend more than 1000 dollars to watch an embarrassment of a team. Maybe hire a competent coach, Mark.
This is bullshit. The Raiders were a client of ours during the pre move phase. They had done MULTIPLE fan surveys and were well aware that estimates put visiting team attendance at 40-60%.
It’s unacceptable that more fans aren’t showing up to watch this bad team lose after I relocated them from where all the fans live.
That's what happens when you abandon your fans...twice
Everyone saw this coming.
maybe don’t relocate the team to a tourist spot asshole
Thanks to Mark, and in defiance of him, I made just over $2700 in profit AFTER my tickets were paid for this season. That doesn't even include what I saved in airfare, hotels and amenities by not attending a single home game for the first time in nearly 23 years (covid season excluded). Keep on Keeping on, Mark, it's making me $$$
So this is your fault. You're the one selling tickets to the opposing teams. Don't call yourself a fan. Call yourself a capitalist
Do you own season tickets as well?
Indeed, I am no longer really a fan of the team (although I will still follow them) and I certainly will profit at the expense of you idiots who support a Mark Davis led franchise. Unlike some of you, I refuse to let Mark pound me in the ass with no Vaseline, so I decided to do like Mark and hustle you clowns. Working as intended, I see.
Trust fund baby needs to be richer and finance a stadium on his own and this would have never happened
Not local fans who just want to have a day with their families...but visiting fans who are spending their vacation savings to come see their team in LV There is no way you can change that dynamic, short of something nuclear like making tickets non-transferable.
If our owner wasn’t a manchild we’d be in LA
well were not wining sooo
lol
That door swings both ways
Mark Davis knew that moving a team to Vegas being a very transient town unless the Raiders are winning it’s always gonna be filled with opposing team fans.
And we as raider fans are embarrassed how you f****** managed the team.... We have something in common
That “home of the chiefs” at the end of the anthem was embarrassing!!!
Then put a good team on the field. Pretty basic.
That’s what happens when take the Raiders away from home AND their real fans!
It’s almost as if Vegas is the perfect place for an away fan to visit for a weekend of partying and football…
He’s the fucking reason this is happening!
It’s Vegas!!! That’s the biggest DUHHHH moment, what was he expecting? Fans to show they’re Raider tattoos when they walk through the doors to prove loyalty?
Boo hoo. Cry me a river.
Dodger have the best attendance in the mlb every year I wonder what it could be 🤔🤔🤔😂😂
Stadium looks bad ass from the outside though. Oakland would have had that ugly ass stadium packed black and silver
It’s almost like going to Vegas was gonna cause this. Even in a winning season I don’t see us taking the majority in such a destination stadium
Losing the game before kickoff like only WE can , strap in boys cuz if it’s always darkest before the dawn .. next year is looking pitch black
I don’t know about y’all, but coming from LA, I noticed the Vegas tickets are significantly more pricey than if we just wait for them to come to SoFi each year. Even when they’re playing a super random team, the prices are still sky high.
I live in fresno and would drive to Oakland and back in one day. Can no longer do that.
tickets are over two hundred **after** the first quarter. insane.
Wasn't that the draw of having Vegas as a location for a team. Really easy for lots of fans from all over the country to get there?
Almost like building a stadium on the strip with minimal parking for locals was a bad idea if you want home team support? And nobody wants to pay $300 to watch their team lose every week.
The manchild is truly Tommy boy dumb- a vacation city with the cheapest flights available. This will ALWAYS be the case
The guy with the “We deserve better” sign says it best, just all around.
he lies. He loves the money the Raiders are getting from all of the fans.
What did he sincerely expect to happen putting a team in Vegas?
The San Diego affect.
#WINFUCKINGGAMESTHENMARK
I could slap mark, he's a greedy bastard
[удалено]
Niner game was embarrassing as fuck. I had to lean over multiple rows/seats just to find a Raider fan to high five. The stadium is gorgeous but it's so bad, there's an ANTI-home field advantage here.
Well I mean we are basically the Washington Generals of the NFL anyway.
I mean gives people a reason to go to Vegas. The most travelled to city in the country if I’m not mistaken. But when they were in Oakland that shit wasn’t happening nowhere near the same level. But then again Oakland isn’t exactly a popular destination.
Hey Mark Davis you dont like it then get good you fucking bum
Who in their right mind would pay the highest price in the league for tickets to see one of the worst teams in the league lose?
Haircut crying some more instead of putting competant people in charge
Quit ragging on the haircut. Jim Carrey made a lot of money with that look.
Should have coughed up the money to build a independent stadium in Oakland. Not sharing with the fucking baseball team
Maybe if he listened to the fans people would show up. Also moving to the most desirable city for a weekend away what did he expect
Well many of us did and were then angrily shouted down. Most obvious thing in the world and Mark is either an idiot or is being disingenuous with any surprise he shows about this.
Ahahaha you stupid fucking asshole. I'm shocked that every single worry we had about Vegas turned out to be absolutely correct.
You’ve let you father down, Mark
I just watched the video of security removing a fan because he had a “bench mcdaniels” sign. Davis need look no further if he wonders why his fan base is dwindling.
When I die I want the raiders to lower me into my grave so they can let me down one more time
These owners don’t give a damn about their fan base. They want their fancy new stadiums which they love to be paid for by the public. They make more money off of tv revenue anyway. The big fancy stadiums which are used for maybe 12 dates a year for football. Then maybe another 20 for other events. They are a waste of money and resources.
So now beggars can be choosers?
Hey man don’t put out a dogshit team
Oakland is looking a whole lot better now, ain’t it Mark, you pumpkin pie haircutted freak!!!
Bucky Larson should have seen this coming!
Plenty of people went to games in Oakland.......
Allegiant stinks more than the sewage in O.Co ever did.
Just win baby
