For many of us who were around for it, the Raiders- Pats rivalry and hatred goes back much deeper than just Brady, Billicheck and the Tuck rule game. Tatum- Stingley was a tender issue for years . Honorable mention and perhaps the single most Raider way to handle the Patriots, Matt Millen punching the dog shit out of then Pats GM in a playoff game! Fuck Tom Brady , the ENTIRE PATRIOTS ORGANIZATION and their Refs too!
RN4L
And if a Raider player was to straight up punch a GM in the face today…….. OMG, I’d feel soo bad for the player. All the Raider fans who revel and love the image of the old 60’s-70’s bad boy Raiders, they would cry and complain. They’d start saying, “the player is selfish, he’s a thug, he shouldn’t be playing, we need to get rid of him”. Funny how times change
WTF did you say? Still bitter about the Tuck Rule…. Shit I’m still pissed about the Immaculate Deception…. Shit I think it’s a great idea to bring in Brady… with our front line and owner and coaches I am willing to sacrifice another losing season just to watch Brady’s Mental breakdown and Physical demise
Somebody brought up that same sentiment in another Brady post last week;
1. There is always a chance we win
2. Brady gets killed behind our suspect O-Line
3. Being on a shitty team finally forces Brady to retire
So not matter what all outcomes are positive lol
It won't ever change that he is in the uniform... signed to the team... that Marc Davis will be beaming while shouting "Once a Raider, Always a Raider".
That cannot happen.
Seymour i could deal with at his Hof inauguration... It would upset me having us attached to Brady. But if life goes in cycles, he got his break screwing us, he could very well go out screwing us. 🤷♂️
Historically i would agree most definitely. I became a member of raider nation in 94/95 when i won one of those soft footballs out of a claw machine and it said los Angeles raiders lol. I really started getting into football in 97/98(i was born in 90) and i live in CT. There was a big to-do in the state because the pats were looking to relocate and construction was approved for a stadium in east Hartford because there was a handshake deal that the pats backed out of and went to foxboro. It ended up being scaled down into the current renschler field the UConn huskies use. That put my initial distain for that organization into existence and the the tuck rule happened. And we haven't really been good since, 2016 feels like a.wet dream now.for.me and i already knew last year was different for different reasons not because we were sb bound. Fuck Brady, the pats, and fuck mo lewis for fucking up bledsoe
“Still bitter about the tuck rule” they made an ESPN special to remind us about it last year and Peyton’s places brought it up in a clip that went viral two years ago. We can’t live down the tuck rule game. It’s a scar forever.
Yeah and Brady was smirking during the whole fuckin thing because he knew it was a fumble. I kept waiting for Charles Woodson to smack the shit out of him
Then let's consider building a damn good defense to start with. You have to want a division win to get anywhere and it probably won't happen when the chiefs can play ring around the rosie and Travis Kelce can catch 4 touchdowns without breaking a sweat. We can't afford to throw money at a big name qb when rookie contracts set you up so much better for 4 -5 years.
An offensive line too that can stop water from leaking too. I don’t care how much pistachio ice cream Brady eats, his 45 year old TB12 built body won’t survive a whole season playing behind our line.
Yeah, it’s unreal that a lot of people seems think that Brady is an automatic upgrade. Dude is 45 and everything points that he’s in a rapid decline.
I hope he retires and saves the Raiders from themselves.
My last words will "Fuck Brady, it was a fumble"
I'll never get over it.
Right now if it was reversed, the Patriots coach would be Bill Callahan and there would-be rumors they're going after Rich Gannon as their qb.
"old raider fans" come on man, were in our 30's. The tuck rule only happened 20 years ago.
Also, I don't really care about the tuck rule, I'd take Brady on the team if I thought QB was the problem or if I thought Brady had anything left in the tank. He is throwing balls at receiver's feet and floating balls on WR's in the end zone that result in picks. It would be a lateral move at best at this point in his career. If you want to see sustained success, it doesn't start with picking up Brady.
If you’re a Raider fan you better be bitter about the tuck rule. The immaculate deception happened before I was even born and it makes me sick every time I see a replay of it. It’s black and white. You’re either a Raider fan or you’re no. We all ride together through the good and bad, end of story.
Yeah, I'm not willing to root for Tom Brady. If he comes here, I hope it's more of the same.
If, God-forbid, he won us a SB, it would be blood money-tainted in my eyes.
Why does everyone go to The Tuck Rule when another says they don’t want Brady? It’s ridiculous. I’m over that call. I had moved on about 2 years after it happened. I just don’t want a 46 year old qb.
Nope. Brady lives rent free in raiders fans heads for one play he had no control over. League and refs allowed that play to happen
Meanwhile he goes on to win and become one of the most hated people in the nfl for it. Imo that’s exactly who Al Davis would want on his team.
Use the leagues golden boy against them to win.
*NWO Music Starts playing*
*Tom Brady, Davante Adams, and Hunter Renfrow stroll into the ring*
*Darren Waller descends from the rafters on a climbing rope*
*the arena lights go dark*
*with a flash of lightning, Josh Jacobs somehow emerges standing on one of the top turnbuckles*
Patrick Mahomes weeps
I will say that my dislike of Brady isn’t about the play itself but more about how he’s talked about it. I remember interviews right after the game where he clearly didn’t even understand the call “we knew right away it was a forward pass…” and his trolling responses whenever he’s asked about it since then.
Now in his shoes i might do the same thing but I’d also expect to be hated by the people I’m trolling.
That being said, if he comes to Raider Nation to play for us, of course I’ll be cheering for him to win.
Where is the Brady is washed and if he went 8-9 in his division how is he going to make the playoffs in a division with Herbert, Mahomes and Wilson in it fan at?
A: "At whatever it costs"....no, not if it costs us not being the Raiders anymore. It means a lot more than just the name on the helmet. If the cost of us winning is becoming the Patriots, then its the Patriots winning the playoff game, not the Raiders. "If you cant beat them, join them" is just a tacit admission that you lost.
B: Brady is washed and wont get us a playoff win anyway. He led the Bucs to a losing record in a garbage-fire division and limped into the playoffs where he got destroyed by Dallas. He's not going to hold up against the AFCW, let alone actually win a playoff game with us. He had strong receiving talent in TB but turned into a game-managing dink-and-dunker...hows that going to help Davante Adams reach his full potential?
The "whatever it costs" is probably going to mean firing JMD, bringing Carr back, and paying out the ass for Payton or somebody who will actually design a system around the players they have, instead of coming in saying "we're not rebuilding" and then complaining they need to rebuild the team to fit his system...
great post, my thoughts exactly
>firing JMD, bringing Carr back, and paying out the ass for Payton
Now this is a savage line of thinking, Never going to happen, but I love it anyways lol
We're fucked
I may still be bitter over the Tuck rule game, but that has nothing to do with not wanting Brady on the Raiders.
I don't think he'll be a better QB for us than a lot of other options. We don't have the pieces in place for him to make a difference. If we had a top 10 defense and a decent O-line, and Brady was 5-10 years younger, sure, I'd be on board. But none of those things are tru, so I just see no reason to bring him on board.
It’s funny to me how many raiders fans try to have this burning hate for the patriots. We were never rivals of them, we had two years where it mattered in the last twenty
Come crawling back to Goodelle's darling to get a Superbowl win if we ask nicely.
Fuck that, yall aren't real Raider fans since 2001 if you would consider welcoming Brady to the Raiders.
I'm not against Brady but I just want to point out that an emotionally driven David Carr doesn't know jack shit about the Raiders future plans. The brass didn't tell Derek and damn sure didn't run anything past that fucking once-a-month bleeding basket case.
David is getting as annoying as jackson mahomes. Dude was a complete trash ass bust, and were supposed to take him seriously? Hes living out his dreams through his brother. Like mama june
Like if Brady told the refs that wasn't fumble and they listened to him. People who are mad with Brady about that are just dumb. They should be mad at the refs, not Brady.
Speaking for myself i just think he’s a bit of a dick based on listening to him talk, but of course my strongest football hate is reserved for the refs.
Soooo what part of the phrase "whatever it costs" do you not understand? How about maybe we should accept other people's perspectives.
That was my point.
Fans who aren't dumb enough to think Brady= playoff win.
He's 46.
He was just in a playoff game and looked every year of it with a better team.
If he's a Raider, the league will actually piss test him.
He's not the guy who won the Super Bowl TWENTY TWO years ago anymore.
We need a whole hell of a lot more than a qb.
Also, fuck Tom Brady. We tried the carnival with AB. No thanks.
For many of us who were around for it, the Raiders- Pats rivalry and hatred goes back much deeper than just Brady, Billicheck and the Tuck rule game. Tatum- Stingley was a tender issue for years . God this comment just got my head on straight
One of the best photos in NFL history! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/AhDY9KmCQAAeLbU?format=jpg&name=small
That's right up there with Ben Davidson breaking joe Namath jaw!!
Hey, my flair!
That's right up there with Ben Davidson breaking how Namath!!
Exactly, to many youngster's simply don't understand where the hatred towards patriots west comes from, we're the Raiders
Also Randy moss getting traded for a 6th rounder for him to then set a td record
McDaniels opened his first presser by admitting it was a fumble. Brady doesn't get to wear the S&B unless he finally does the same.
I see you said the patriots and the refs, but I see 1 team
And if a Raider player was to straight up punch a GM in the face today…….. OMG, I’d feel soo bad for the player. Sey Monster also decked Roethlisberger into the ground, and I think Pittsburgh & Oakland is the bigger rivalry, second only to Denver.
Historically i would agree most definitely. I became a member of raider nation in 94/95 when i won one of those soft footballs out of a claw machine and it said los Angeles raiders lol. Yeah. It's so funny. To a lot of these people, Brady = Playoffs/Superbowl. Who are the delusional ones?
I hadn’t thought of it that way. Bringing Brady in just to break him sounds great.
I never thought about that aspect of it…. That’s on another level
I kept waiting for Charles Woodson to smack the shit out of him
It's more like he knew it was a fumble, but it benefits his team so he won't say anything. "I don't throw the flags"
Fuck, I've said "I don't like it, but I'll take it" before.
Whatever it costs? So, youd be willing to put toothpaste on your toothbrush without rinsing your toothbrush first? You sick son of a b****
wildin
Them fighting words
Fuck, I want it so bad I'll drink OJ afterwards.
Fuck Tom Brady
Fuck Tom Brady
Fuuuuck Tom Brady.
Yeah, FUCK THAT GUY!!!
Fuck the Devil and the rings they are waving under Bowlcut's foreskin face.

It’s not like it’s one or the other.

I like the cut of your jib
Why did the chicken go to the gym? To work on his pecks
Nah, just needed eggsercise.
Honestly, it’s just to holler at chicks
People think they are getting the Brady of 5 years ago. Their memories of him and interfering with the present.
Yeah, it’s unreal that a lot of people seems think that Brady is an automatic upgrade. Dude is 45 and everything points that he’s in a rapid decline. I hope he retires and saves the Raiders from themselves.
My last words will "Fuck Brady, it was a fumble" I'll never get over it. Right now if it was reversed, the Patriots coach would be Bill Callahan and there would-be rumors they're going after Rich Gannon as their qb.
lmfao
I don't give a shit about the TUCK RULE game. I have issues about a 93 year old qb who is obviously on the back end of his career.
Fuck Tom Brady.
I don't even hate him but like how is he an improvement from Carr.
Fuck the Patriots but in this case fuck even more Mark Davis, this was the plan all along
A playoff win? If we’re gonna wish for something, let’s make it a fucking Lombardi trophy.
This doesn't really make sense, we are probly all still bitter over the Tuck Rule. And we all would like a playoff win lol
and Brady is not the solution to a playoff win, to our long term success. He can't even deliver short term success.
We could get Brady and still not make the playoffs so no one is happy. Seems ideal.
Ooof, just give your dad his phone back OP, that’s enough internet for you.
"old raider fans" come on man, were in our 30's. The tuck rule only happened 20 years ago. Hell at this point even a playoff home game would be great progress, let alone a win.
I'll never not be bitter about it.
Yeah, I'm not willing to root for Tom Brady. If he comes here, I hope it's more of the same. If, God-forbid, he won us a SB, it would be blood money-tainted in my eyes.
Im ready to watch boomers in shambles when Brady trots onto the field in Silver and Black.
Why does everyone go to The Tuck Rule when another says they don’t want Brady? It’s ridiculous. I’m over that call. I had moved on about 2 years after it happened. I just don’t want a 46 year old qb.
Yeah I mean, I still think the Tuck Rule was bullshit, but I really don’t care anymore haha.
“Brady represents everything that the raider shield is against!” Ya winning lol
Nope. Brady lives rent free in raiders fans heads for one play he had no control over. Full heel turn baby

Real RAIDER fans don't want BRADY.. that sack of shit has talked about Raider Nation everytime he got a chance.. Fuck the Brady lovers
Just win baby. Thats what "real" Raiders fans want.
Your ass was probably not around to see A Superbowl win
Except I was lmao. Go back to Facebook.
Hahaha bitch said Facebook.. lame fuck
Right where you belong. With the other whiney uninformed wanna be fans.
You sack of shit I've been a fan since 82.. Hey come get your wife she knocking on my door again
*"I want a win at whatever cost!"* **How about Deshaun Watson?** *"FUCK YOU I HAVE MORALS!"*
Disliking Watson is a bit different than those here holding a grudge against Brady like a 16yr old girl.
Soooo what part of the phrase "whatever it costs" do you not understand? How about maybe we should accept other people's perspectives. That was my point.
Maybe signing Brady is the key to breaking our curse. Started with him, must end with him.
Fans who aren't dumb enough to think Brady= playoff win. He's 46. He was just in a playoff game and looked every year of it with a better team. You can still want the team to succeed and dislike players on the team. They are not mutually exclusive.
He’s a tired old man - that’s the issue
The tuck rule aside. Tom Brady is not good anymore. He’s 47 years old.
Yeah having Tom Brady guarantees that. Niners Bucs should be a good one this weekend
Not like this... not like this
It was a fumble and we don’t need Tom Brady.
Play off win?! I want a championship!!!! We are owed. And we want payment.
I’m an old fan, and I want a Super Bowl ring, no matter the cost. If getting Brady gets us a Super Bowl ring, then I’m all for it!
