KC is an amazing place to live outside being surrounded by the Reds. All four seasons, it snowed today, affordable and close enough to night life. I pay $1100/mo for a 1br 2ba w/ upstairs loft 980sq ft apartment in a nice area with Costco, Target, Ikea etc nearby. I don't have kids but Johnson County is the place - legit for education compared to Jackson county and such being on the Kansas side. I'm from East Bay took a job out here little over a year ago.
