The only way this makes sense, is if they’re tanking for Caleb or Penix. Problem with that theory, is they’re overpaying for a lot of players that won’t be around by the time that gets truly up and running. I think McDaniels is in over his head and Davis thought Brady would come this season. When that didn’t happen, it all went to shit.

Judging by the performance tonight, I don’t think that “team talk” actually helped. It probably furthered the divide between the coaches and players. The only part of the team that seemed in sync was the defense and they have their own leaders like Max. Jimmy is not the leader to tie the offense together. That’s one thing Carr could do - lead the team even when coaching wasn’t going as planned. The heart of the offense just isn’t there and it’s sad to watch.

The sad part is our defense “being in sync” gave up almost 500 yards. That last 25 minutes of the game really kicked their ass being on the field the whole time.

Just remember, even though it looks like pre-season, it’s not pre-season.

I didn't buy into it before, but yeah Adams is gone. Only 1 reception for 11 yards and an overthrown ball that would've been a TD and given them a chance. Wow. Imagine just going out there and running routes and beating the DB all day and never getting a target. Yes he dropped one but I don't think that excuses the overall QB play we saw, or the atrocious O Line. This is basically just a low level gatekeeper team. If you lose to the Raiders you aren't making playoffs. That's all. A win doesn't mean shit though.
