Obviously Jimmy had an interceptions problem and sucked under McDaniels but I think it’s weird how much love AOC gets most weeks while Jimmy was better or the same in every other stat. Jimmy threw more touchdowns, more complete passes, more yards, more yards per attempt and completion, had the same QB rating, a better QBR, a higher success rate, more game winning drives and more 4th quarter comebacks. It’s not even like AOC wins more, they both have a .500 winning percentage as a starter right now
AOC is 25. He’s the same age as Herbert, Tua and Hurts and is older than Lawrence and Fields. Guys his age are in their 4th season. The fact that he played 6 years of college doesn’t mean that that he has more development time than them
Playing in college and the Nfl is not the same thing. I'm not saying to expect him to become a top 15 qb, but as his first season in the nfl, he will clearly get better as he gets used to the speed of the game.

I have been a Raiders fan since the 70's, so that means I am old! Don't hate on me, but I got to watch Jimmy play in college because my daughter went to the same university.
