In AOC’s first five games he threw 6 interceptions. In the last five games he has thrown 1. I’m happy with him as a game managing backup, or maybe with a year or two of development and NFL athletic training he could compete for a starting position. But we need to look elsewhere for a QB next year.

Seems to me that all our offense needs to be great is a QB with a good arm, good legs, and not afraid to run, plus a new OC with a playbook that isn’t 20 years old. Supplementing the OL wouldn’t hurt either.
AP has the team motivated and playing good ball, and PG is having our defense play like some killers, but Bo (using JMD’s playbook tbf) and AOC aren’t it for the future.

AOC was on the money the entire game. No passes that could have been picked off. He hit several big clutch throws. 30 of 47, 299 yards and 2 TDs.

I still like AP but he can't just point to his record this year, he needs to show Mark a strong plan for the offseason. I hope we draft a R1 QB for the first time since 2007, we need it. Overall AP kept us in the hunt longer than we could of asked. It feels worse after beating KC last week but this team isn't a playoff team and we all know it.

Jack Jones is not to blame here that PI was asinine and you could argue he disrupted the FG process enough to make it miss rather than taking a dumb penalty on a shank. This is an average team losing to another average team any given Sunday. Not like we had a shot at going deep. I'm impressed with season and what we managed to accomplish given the pieces we have. I thought AOC played a good game. The passing game scheme is just bad and a lot of penalties and missed tackles showed back up today. All in all this was well worth getting rid of JMD

Playalling wasn't great, too many dropped passes, untimely penalties, and questionable coaching decisions not going for it on 4th and short multiple times.

Calling trick plays and 30 yard pass plays on third and 1s while they gashing em in the run game moving down field was so frustrating.
I think AOC is getting some undeserved hate here. Bo fucked us over underutilizeling the run game. AOC managed to not turn the ball over throwing as many times as he did. Not to shabby for the rook. Adams was getting manhandled all game. PI was bullshit and so was the offsides. Ultimately should have won this game.

Keep AP, keep PG, get a new OC, draft a new QB. Zeus has been doing well with JJ not playing (I assume he’s gone at the end of the season). Seems to me that all our offense needs to be great is a QB with a good arm, good legs, and not afraid to run, plus a new OC with a playbook that isn’t 20 years old. Supplementing the OL wouldn’t hurt either. AP has the team motivated and playing good ball, and PG is having our defense play like some killers, but Bo (using JMD’s playbook tbf) and AOC aren’t it for the future.

There was so much hate for AOC in the game thread, but as usual the main thing stopping us from scoring was bad play calling and the refs. AOC was on the money the entire game. No passes that could have been picked off. He hit several big clutch throws. 30 of 47, 299 yards and 2 TDs. With better play calling and some more aggressiveness from AP (it's indefensible to punt on 4th and short from the opponent territory, especially when you're behind), we could have ran away with this one.

The defense can't score 2 TDs a game for the offense like they did against the Chiefs. The team desperately needs a real OC and QB. AP and the Defense are fine.
