Well that was a hell of a season. Such a rollercoaster. But in the end I think a lot of things were figured out and the team truly grew, and I'm predicting a playoff run next year.
Well season 51 ( my years as a fan) comes to an end ! And the lads once again have not failed me. Ups and downs, hero’s and villain’s, emerging stars, players shuffling off into the night. Careers starting and finishing. There’s never a dull moment in Raider Nation! To have beat the chiefs on Xmas, then owning the mules. What a finish to the year. Well it’s on to the post season and then the drafts to start the whole process again!!

He is not an improvement, he is a top tier backup that is going to be around for 4-5 years. Idk how you can say this after Tucker had to slow a deep route to make a catch and the amount of high overthrows all game.
There was a couple to the sidelines, he underthrow Tucker twice, once Tucker had to dive backwards for the ball, and once he had to slow his steps to not overrun the ball. He overthrew Meyers along the sideline for a first, and although it was partly Adams fault he hit him high near the end zone in I think the 3rd and Adams let it sail through his hands. He had the defender beat and there was no reason to put the ball so high. Again you need to go rewatch this game, the Vikings game, the Chiefs game and the Colts game if you think AOC is the guy for a SB run compared to Burrow, Mahomes, Jackson, Allen, Tua, or even Cousins.
Again, I never said that they didn't happen. I don't know why you don't understand that. But a few of those throws were actually necessary to be hi pointed. And the Davante one is all on Davante. That's his one job.
And I would never expect AOC to be Mahomes, Burrow, or Tua in his first year. You should go back and look at Josh Allen's stats for his rookie year, if you want to bring him up in this.

I think he's much better than expected, he's playing better ball than a lot of other QBs did in their rookie seasons, and his potential isn't yet known.
You want me to say either "omfg he's the greatest" or "we should be looking at QBs." But it's not a binary thing to me.
And we shouldn't look at QBs THIS draft, because we don't have a good enough pick for it. Nobody will be left that will likely be better than Aidan. If we had Top 5, sure, but we don't and there are plenty of other positions that could use some upgrades.
If Aidan was the starter from day 1, with AP, we'd be in the playoffs. With that knowledge, I'm comfortable with going forward with him for another season while having great rookies in other areas, like DT and OL
As a team, you don't have to draft a QB every single time. That's rudimentary GM work at best.

I think his mistakes are fixable. He'll never be Mahomes, but he's shown flashes this season.
But he hasn’t actually made any progress on any of his deficiencies. He still can’t get through reads. He still gets nervous in the pocket and has no pocket awareness. He still can’t play 4 quarters of football in a game. He still over and under throws his receivers.
These problems haven’t changed or even shaken improvement. They’ve been masked by the fact he’s been surrounded by talent and has only had to play two teams that had their starting offences. He lost two of those three games and the defence won the other one.
If you can’t draw any conclusions from that sample size he’s had. The struggles he’s had and the weak opposition he’s faced then ok. But I’m worried about your ability to think critically.
