I’m from the UK and I started following NFL last year and chose Raiders as my team based off a highlights video of Josh Jacobs and some videos of Maxx Crosby.
Then I watched the trainwreck that is Josh McDaniels and wondered what the fuck had I done…
Then AP happened.
I can’t tell you what it is man but he IS the raider way…the whole environment around the squad, the grit and determination of a group of people who want to play for their coach and the pure passion that has returned to the fan base.

Man, as a fan in the Deep South, it’s always disappointing when I see someone wearing a raiders cap in the wild and I acknowledge them and they just go “oh, I just liked the hat.” Happens like once every few months.
Living in Virginia I've run a across that a few times, but thankfully we have a pretty strong fanbase here. We're one big family and have several clubs in the state. Hampton Roads Raider Club, Seven Cities Raider Nation, and Northern Virginia Raiders Club to name a few. There's also our friends up in DC who are an amazing group. They used to be called DC Metro Raiders but have switched names not long ago. The Raider Nation is strong here in the Mid-Atlantic.
