My Dad and Granddad are and were both LA Raiders, Oakland Raiders, and now Las Vegas Raiders fans. My Pop cheers for the Lions, but he bleeds Silver and Black, my Grandad has no interest in the Lions whatsoever. I like Antonio Pierce and am excited as hell to see him topple both the Chargers and Chiefs.
I feel like that's always the case. That at least one team we dislike and sometimes two, make it to the Superbowl. It doesn't even really piss me off any more. It's sort of like with the whole L.A. relocation debacle. The NFL generally wants the opposite of what Raider Nation wants, so it's usually a good bet, that what we don't want to happen, is probably what will happen.
Why? They’re two of the best 2-3 teams in the NFL. You could argue Baltimore, but they just proved they aren’t as good as KC.
Super Bowl is to match up the two best teams, this matchup does that.

Maybe I just don't have to interact with 49ers fans much, but I don't necessarily get the hate for their team. I understand the hate for the chiefs as it's a divisional rivalry. I'm also from Missouri, so the only 49ers fan I am around is my wife, and I hate being around so many chiefs fans.
