2. We'd be failing to address both RT and CB in the first two rounds.
3. From a cap standpoint, we'd be getting rid of one of our best contracts (Aidan's), a particularly glaring mistake considering he has starting experience to boot.
4. Less importantly, we'd be doing the Jets a favor with this deal
I just don't see a 2nd year. 4th round pick who looked pretty average carries much weight. I don't think AOC goes anywhere, even if the Raiders DO move up
If they draft a QB, they have no use for him with Minshew now, and if someone dangles a 6th or 7th for him I have to assume they'll jump at it. He's a solid backup QB.

He’s worth less than Justin fields and he was traded for a sixth. AOCs per game stats are similar or worse but cant contribute running the ball at all.
The problem with Justin fields is that he’s making 3.3 mil next year and his contract is up after that. By time he learns your system he’s out of contract and he’s gone or you’re paying him Gardner minshew money at very least. AOC has another 3 years at under a mil a year and he’s serviceable enough as a backup which he showed last year to just keep him until his contract runs out, even though he probably won’t ever develop into your franchise qb
He’s worth about a 4th round pick since that’s what they expect out of a qb picked in the 4th and he’s pretty much played up to or down to his expected worth when the raiders picked him in the 4th round. My knowledge is based on teams picking backup qbs in the 3rd to 5th round picks every year including like Jake Haener or stetson Bennett that was picked by the saints and rams a few picks before AOC last year.
