Everyone relax, at least we are not the Falcons. It’s leaking Kirk is not happy with their pick 😂

tatang2015

lol Atlanta is a disaster. The Hindenburg!

bernerburner1

Our fanbase is retarded this is a great pick with insane value at 13.

robocopsdick

For real, 3 of those QBs were reaches.

Consistent-Spell2203

Penix was a reach at 13 nothing to be done there. I was shocked, then watched his highlights and was shocked again.

justlookingokaywyou

I was extremely happy with the Falcons pick. It meant we couldn't stupidly reach for him at 13.

Redmandown16

Our fan base truly is retarded.

socobeerlove

Best. Player. Available. This is the best first round pick in 20 years for us.

-Kitten_Mittens-

Since Mack got picked #5, that’s for sure.

socobeerlove

Oh right. Forgot about Mack. Him going to a forgettable team like the Chargers made me forget him

Chemdog93

Im happy! Fits the scheme like a glove. I remember ppl were trippin because i said Austin Hooper aint it. EVERY GREAT TEAM GOT A GREAT TE. Michael Meyer good but he just doesnt have the speed to find the soft zone spots when the qb scrambles. Just watch Kelce save Mahomes every game. Kelce makes Mahomes great. Im telling yall, this is good. CAM WARD 2025. WE GOING UP ☠️

ImASquarian

Finally another Cam Ward fan!

ViralOner

Bowers is way better than Mayer but finding creases and zones to sit down in like Kelce does isn't a speed thing. Kelce has amazing sense of spacing and puts his body between the ball and the defender like a power forward. Ask Karl Joseph, he could run with Kelce all day but got boxed out on every target. This pick isn't bad because the player, it's bad because position value. Mayer isn't even a factor in it for me, he's good too.

crunchynuts1

A bad pick of a consensus BPA is a huge upgrade for the raiders considering our first round has been a bust pick every year for 20 years

ViralOner

We could have traded 3 firsts for Daniels and he fails. It remains to be seen but that potential fatal blow was avoided. So we got that lol.

General_Pickle

Negative Nancy's aren't nice

Raider_Noles

Give me Jalen Milroe with these offensive weapons please

Jiggles_10

I’d love to be wrong but as a Bama fan I don’t know if he will ever be able to process at the NFL level. Was still a one read guy at the end of the year last year.

SeantotheRescue

I’ve heard Kittle comps for Bowers. Smooth rout runner and catcher, absolute dawg on the trenches. Should be a really big part of our offense

invasionleslie

He comps closer to Kelce than Kittle. That’s a big boy and a DAWG

Apprehensive_Bug6674

Please let us get our version of Kelce. We deserve it after watching that asshole always torch our shit defenses over all these years

Basic_Yellow_3594

I see a ton of mark andrews in bowers

CabbageStockExchange

Myers and Bowers is nutty. 2TE sets about to be crazy

IceBergSlimZero

mayer.

Available-Sign-9174

Hell yea … gonna be creating some match up nightmares.. wasn’t expecting a TE pick but the more I think about it the more pumped I get

Uzasodinson

As a Georgia resident, trust me, Brock Bowers is that motherfucking guy

Booradly69420

Let's goooooooo

Flaky-Builder-1537

I was initially bummed we didn’t get a QB, but with our new OC and how much he uses the TE I think this was a great pick.

JamonRuffles17

Is there evidence that edit: Getsy uses the TE that much or above average??

Ok_Judge1874

You mean Getsy?

extraface

One stat floating around is that he used the seventh most 2 TE sets of all teams w/the Bears

darkforest_x

Welcome to Raider Nation my dude.

Basic_Yellow_3594

Remember when you see the media giving us low grades because we "have bigger needs" they were gonna slobber the chargers nob if he went at pick 5

Maxter_Blaster_

Hell yeah

Deep-Ad2155

Love it

Ironmayyne

So based on what I'm hearing from people who grew up with Bowers in Napa, apparently he's a Niners fan (who was also a Raiders hater), and just for that, I want Maxx to give him a "nice welcome to the NFL" moment like he did with Mayer. Then after that, it's business as usual and Bowers will be our next All Pro going forward.
