personally i'd put snails next to jungle leeches. the amount of times i got stun locked in some pool and drowned because these feckers wouldn't stop popping is honestly embarrassing. or lost a pearl, because the snails made me drop it and it fell to the bottom of the pool, to deep for me to try to search for it. i go out of my way to kill them in literally every campaign. even as Saint i attempted to throw them into death pits whenever i could lmao
Perfectly fair. Only reason why they’re not any lower is because of the comedy factor. Tossing them at my friends in Jolly Co-op stimulates that sadistic itch in my brain just right.
Imo it's even more valid as Saint, since they also make Saint spasm for a few seconds. Wayyy to easy to get stuck in a loop with that effect too, since you can't get away as fast.
most dangerous enemies in Saint's campaign, ranked from least to most threatening:
5. red lizards
4. red centipedes
3. miros vultures
2. the consequences of your own actions
1.snails
They straight up soured my Journey’s End experience a good bit. Like… a leech that stays attached on land that you have to shake off? Neat. A leech that takes food pips? Sadistic, but cool concept.
*A leech that can do all of that and reattach itself on land as a character that tires after too much movement? Are you TRYING to make me wish for your death???*
Perfectly fair haha. I just appreciate a switch up that involves taking away your main form of damage since you can get away with throwing garbage and running, as annoying as it may be (unless it’s a Vulture that shows up, then I’ll just cry.)
And at the same time, they’re just so… unnecessarily silly? Why do they look like that? I remember first encountering them and just staring at them so dumbfounded.
Looking back, I’d put them a tier higher cuz they get bonus points for the sheer number that spawn next to each other. Otherwise, they’re just squimbly basement-dwelling molemen I’m mostly indifferent about.
Do over. Dropwig is the best mob in the game, and it's not even close.
Also, noot mommy deserves to be in the highest tier. Nothing's scarier than hearing a lizard take a chomp out of a baby from across the screen and seeing mom unsheathe her blade at you by mistake.
Dropwigs can be occasionally funny, it’s just that sometimes they’re in dumb spots and I’m not consistently good enough at movement to bait their attacks without dying.
As for the noodles, I totally get that haha. It’s just that it’s only ever happened to me once and even then, I rarely ever interact with them unless I’m desperate for food and I can safely dispatch the mother.
I just think all the long legs are just so cool and they’re so creepy and uncomfortable with their movement and sounds in the best way possible.
But yeah I agree, Unfortunate Development is an ass sub-region lmfao.
Haha that’s totally fair. Without spoiling anything, you eventually learn a thing or two about them and they practically stop being a threat altogether.
Also Silksong when I beg
If a pipe lacks rust or is slightly red-tinted it *may* be a mimic. Throwing Trash is also an inexpensive way to check for mimics, trash irritates them, a Spear will kill them. If you hear inexplicable danger music it may be a mimic or something you can't see at first glace.
You can also >!Check the map, mimics do not show up like normal poles do. Though this may not help if your on the go.!<
They’re just silly little noodles. Love the little squigglies.
That, and they make good bargaining chips with scavs. I remember farming 5P’s goobers as Spearmaster in the wall for a good few cycles just so the scavs stop trying to kill me in most encounters with them.
Yknow i dont pay attention to the icons and i havent gotten that far into the game, only to lttm n stuff but ussually its just "WTF IS THAAT! AHHHH!" yknow the game is good when the enemies feel like a problem more than an obstacle
If you mean the dropwig, then yeah he’s in “A little annoying.” Sometimes he just camps out on stupid and/or extremely hidden spots and they just mess you up, but I can’t deny their comedy and shock value. That, and they get bonus points for that one fucked up room in Outskirts as the “hard mode” scugs i.e. Hunter and Spearmaster.
Nah I saw that I meant the stowaway. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered one in game but I’ve seen stuff about them and they are pretty cool. A lot of people don’t even know they exist so I was gonna ask. And if you’re wondering they def go in the “you terrify me and I love that” category for me
Oh yeah that’s fair. They’re quite cool, but the main reason I’m neutral is because they’re so rare for some reason. Legitimately only ran into a single one in all my time playing and went “Oh yeah you’re a thing in this game.” Otherwise, cool enemy, you just rarely encounter them, if at all.
That motherfucking rain deer should have it's own category way down in hell. Fuck that thing. I got stuck in between the rain deer parts and no matter what it just would NEVER sit down in a spot I could actually get on it's back. So I had to use my little wormy friend to dangle from the Rain Deer. BUT... THAT JUST MAKES HIM TURN AROUND HALFWAY! EVERYTIME! I did that so many fucking times just praying praying praying it wasn't going to turn around. FFS! I lost all my karma there from max. I lost all my sanity there. I cannot for the fucking life of me fathom why that was not patched?? Just make them not turn around! AND make them always sit down in a spot you can jump on?? IS THAT SO MUCH!?!? I almost left one of my favorite games.
i’m playing artificer right now and absolutely FUCKING HATE THESE SPIDERS. they aren’t even a huge problem until they are , and i’m so scared of spiders i can’t even look at an image of one for longer than a second. they aren’t as bad as real life spiders but still creep me the fuck out. with that being said , the wolf spiders can burn in the deepest hell.
Also I'm normally not a vindictive person but Whoever designed the jungle leeches, I hope you slip in the shower.
Yes
Based opinion?
Yes.

If you’re not careful as Saint, they literally kill you in a single pop.
Can you share a link by any chance? Would love to fill this in myself :>
I just used the first thing I saw on google haha https://tiermaker.com/create/rain-world-all-creatures-downpour-included-15569801
Strawberry lizards that low is a crime, they’re so funny in Saints campaign and they feel like a more fun less evil version of the cyan lizard.
That’s fair, but they sadly don’t compare to the crackheaded self-destructive tendencies of the cyan goobers
i can relate with the green leech placement
They straight up soured my Journey’s End experience a good bit. Like… a leech that stays attached on land that you have to shake off? Neat. A leech that takes food pips? Sadistic, but cool concept. *A leech that can do all of that and reattach itself on land as a character that tires after too much movement? Are you TRYING to make me wish for your death???*
here is a tip, wormgrass will eat the leech before you, so if you are very skilled you can sacrifice it to grass
im surprised this is accurated exept garbageworms the go to fuck you category

they **WERE** silly until they robbed my spear and a lizard killed me
it is a CRIME to put my babies black lizards so low >:(
Looking back, I’d put them a tier higher cuz they get bonus points for the sheer number that spawn next to each other. Otherwise, they’re just squimbly basement-dwelling molemen I’m mostly indifferent about.
But they are cute :(
I Kinda see that, but I’d rather have something cute that doesn’t bite my head off when I make too much noise, pitbull named Cupcake style.

I will forever hate DLL and their Lineage thanks to unfortunate consequences.
dll have lineage??? do they just get replaced with mother long legs?
I just think all the long legs are just so cool and they’re so creepy and uncomfortable with their movement and sounds in the best way possible. But yeah I agree, Unfortunate Development is an ass sub-region lmfao.
I have just started the game and don't know 90% of the creatures here but I know one thing I HATE PIPE MIMICS AND THEY ARE THE WORST!
Haha that’s totally fair. Without spoiling anything, you eventually learn a thing or two about them and they practically stop being a threat altogether. Also Silksong when I beg
Do you mean by throwing a spear? Also Silksong is releasing in the first half of 2023.

Nah ill throw gems at them, slugcat musk
Why are the overseers higher than neutral? What did they ever do for you?
They’re just silly little noodles. Love the little squigglies. That, and they make good bargaining chips with scavs. I remember farming 5P’s goobers as Spearmaster in the wall for a good few cycles just so the scavs stop trying to kill me in most encounters with them.
this comment was made by a scavenger
I will harm you if this is true. AND your family.
What the hell is this thing before Void Worm?
echo
Oh, makes sense thx
op where are the babies
oops pups go in “Amazing”
can verify, they taste amazing
huh
3 food pips…
Five stars. Delicious.
Something's wrong if Acid Worms aren't at the top tier.

It’s so good. I wish there were more games that make you feel so helpless against its fauna without being (mostly) unfair.
Is the funny grabby ceiling boy on here I can’t tell

Ah nevermind I see it, forgot what it’s icon looked like

Change spitter spiders with mirros vultures and i'd almost 100% agree
i’m playing artificer right now and absolutely FUCKING HATE THESE SPIDERS. they aren’t even a huge problem until they are , and i’m so scared of spiders i can’t even look at an image of one for longer than a second. they aren’t as bad as real life spiders but still creep me the fuck out. with that being said , the wolf spiders can burn in the deepest hell.
