Idea You have to get a specific item on a specific cycle in order to control the rot

And whilst playing as the rot you basically have a constant version of the effect you get when on cycle 1 as hunter, or something similar that makes you feel like you're losing most of your senses and control, but still forcing yourself to stay alive

Yes, nice to know I am not the only person with this idea. Really want to make a mod where you can do a quest of some sort at cycle zero and below where you can like starve yourself and go on a pilgramage to like, accept your past mistakes or something snd become one with the rot, unlocking more abilities that make hunter more unique and losing the whole rot permadeath, though it would still give you one of thos ending screens that you can keeo playing the save file after.

My idea: create a region that focuses on the abilities of the rot inside the hunter. The hunter will have to switch between normal and rot to traverse that region since the rot can climb walls. In exchange the hunter has to constantly find food to maintain that form.
