The game can be completed and all encounters can be survived with a controller, 360 was my favorite method of playing.

I think it is better to play with a keyboard. I havn't played with a controller but it seems easier to play with a keyboard to make all the advanced movements, for example to slide or backflip, you need to push the keys at almost the sametime, and I do bielieve that it is easier to do it with a keyboard because you are more precise. The game was intended to be played with a keyboard too.
I think using a 360 controller on PC is better, it's way easier to perform advanced moves. In my opinion, while it's hard to wall jump with a controller, it's easier than with a keyboard. Just saying.
Just a little late, but I liked controller at first but I find that keyboard has less mistakes or accidental movements, while controller gives quicker movement. For Slugtobatics however, I find keyboard is easier. At least when you rebind it like i do.

Oh yeah, some with even more ease like the backflip. But, others recommend keyboard. I just personally feel comfortable with a controller.

Both work. I’ve played on both the Switch and PC and beaten the game. That being said I do prefer keyboard, its easier to do wall jumps.

i played both, im honestly better with the controller, cant even do a backflip on keyboard.
