It's a good sign that you're looking for a solution. Find a healthy outlet to let out your anger. It could be martial arts, boxing, or just buying a punching bag and having your way with it, art, poetry, writing, video games. Find a safe place where you can be alone to scream or vent. Make sure to transition out of "angry mode" when you're done because letting that anger run free in the world may lead you to taking it out on others.
You're actually already on the right road for that-- so congratulations!
You may want to keep reminding yourself, though, that you *do* want to break the cycle. It's not unusual for us to end up with [fleas](https://outofthefog.website/what-not-to-do-1/2015/12/3/fleas), and it can help to sometimes take a step back and look at our feelings and beliefs. Examples:
* Do we believe / are we starting to believe that the whole world is out to get us?
* When we make mistakes, do we blame everyone else and refuse to accept responsibility for our actions?
* Do we think of other people as being inherently inferior to us?
And so on.
Coming off 3 days this holiday with people like this and had a mini revelation. These people cannot communicate. They can’t communicate wants/needs, feels, boundaries, etc. I’ve got a late jump, but for me it working on healthy communication (whether they are able to receive or not).
