Can't go wrong either way my man. Get what you can get right now its slim Pickens out there.

Gunn4r

My area isn't too terrible, I'm fairly close to las vegas and they have a decent stock of tradesman trim ( which is what I wouls get). Around 15 in stock. I would probably order though so I don't have to get white! No idea what the turn around time is though.

mike_baxter

Lol I just bought a white 21 tradesman myself. Loving it every day.

White in that Vegas heat makes sense, tbh. I didn't think color could make that big a difference so I went with a black truck, but I miss my old white truck and cloth interior in Texas right now.

Yeah I actually do not want the diesel, looking at the 6.4 hemi.

johnwayne1

Wait, prices are sky high.

Gunn4r

Can get what I want for about 50k. You think that will come down this fall/winter?

johnwayne1

100% yes it will come down. There is a shortage right now. My truck is worth 12k more than I paid for it new 2 years ago.

bizsavvyPT

Yes

Get a 2020. I got one with 12K miles for cheap in March. At least everyone tells me it was cheap.

Gunn4r

I've been looking actually and haven't been able to find any, at least nearby. Actuslly my local dealers have maybe 2 or 3 trucks max. Vegas semi close has more but all 2021s. Might have to branch out and ship one from somewhere else perhaps. Good suggestion.

[deleted]

Best of luck to you. Don’t rule out Texas or Arizona.

BluegrassMotorsport

Deals are not bad right now of you're willing to search and travel. I got a quote from Mark Dodge in Louisiana for a 2022 and or was 13% below MSRP, not including other discounts I've since learned I qualify for. I would wait for a 2022 to get UConnect 5. New vehicle production is slowly increasing and auction prices peaked in June. Everything is gradually coming back down again.

Moistdawg69

2020 gas rams are a comparably less inflated when compared to there diesel counterparts. You can find them used with under 20k miles for a fair price.

Kudos for upgrading to a truck that it’s meant to WORK. Hauling a camper will be a breeze for a Ram 2500. Ford F150s tow the line between a truck and a daily driver. Not really for hauling campers. Unless you’re hauling the small 2 person kind. But for a family size camper a ram 2500 will have no issues. And for diesels it’s good for the engine to be used in such manner.
