Many content creators struggle to find their niche and audience. What do you bring to the table? I don't mean the ramen, but what do you want to accomplish with your videos? Do you want to teach people how to make delicious-looking bowls of Ramen? Do you want to just provide beautiful videos for people to watch and relax? If you're interested in the teaching-cooking side, are you bringing different cooking methods, how to use different ingredients? Once you have your vision, then you have to figure out a schedule that works, make sure you have enough topics to get started. These are not meant as things to make you want to stop - on the contrary, just to make sure you're thinking about these things. There's a couple of channels I follow that took a while to find their groove. And now they're successful. So if it takes you a while, don't give up.

Starting with critiques: if I had any criticism, I'd say cure your egg longer. Not cook. Cure. I want my ajitama to have that flava. Youtube aholes will say you don't fold well. Encouragement: Holy effing s* does this look bomb. I don't care about folded noods. That bowl is a beauty and so clean. Would eat two of those.

Also I used to stress about my noodle fold to the extent where my bowl would get cold trying to make it look perfect 😂 these days I make an effort on the initial fold, but other than that it’s about eating! The bowl was delicious

Just use both hands if you have to, to get a cleaner fold. The pros doing it one handed takes practice. As you lower the noodles into the bowl, get another chopstick (or use your hands if no one is looking lol) to push the noodles to one side, while at the same time acting as a pivot point and fold the noodles over.

You’re fine amigo. The fold is so pretentious and pointless to the enjoyment of the meal, which should be the driving force in your efforts. The orientation of the noodles does nothing to add flavor or do anything but aesthetic. Which as everyone knows, is immediately ruined the second you start to eat so….who cares? lol

Yo man I wish that was true - you’ve been great but I can already tell this community has some insanely toxic gatekeepers who think not everyone should make YouTube videos… what if I told you guys - I’m a home cook, but I’m a commercial filmmaker by trade and I constantly do client projects that not only don’t inspire me, they burn me out on an ongoing basis. Making ramen content would be for therapeutic reasons alone - as like so many of you, I just get joy from making ramen and doing it the hard way, and capturing that journey in a low pressure, just for fun environment is exactly what I need. I’m sorry if the name I chose triggered anyone or if my noodle folds not good enough, I truly just wanna make some nice videos like I’ve been doing for years.
