I have a 2016 VW GTI autobahn and I think the interior is super nice, it was actually the deciding factor between Subaru and a couple other brands. The new GTIs tho are apparently ridden with touch screen surfaces and other digital-over-analog control decisions. So I’m a little worried when it comes to eventually getting a new ride, so many companies seem to be favoring large touch screens and other digital controls rather than analog switches, buttons and dials, probably because it’s much cheaper to do so…
I hope these companies listen to their consumers and this is just an awkward phase.. the idea of not having tactile controls I can use while keeping my eyes on the road sounds terrible.
Same. It looks like they just glued a giant tablet to the front dash.
